Kapitel 6: Chapter: Five - The Nightmare at NIE.
Crystal was part of a squad of 20 soldiers, there Are five young women that are armed and 15 young men and older experience soldier's that were part of this squad.
The squad were given an assignment to Gard the perimeter of the Lake-town named Nieil near the Lake NIE. For 3 months they been camped In the outskirts of the Forests near the Town, they are ordered to Gard and eliminate any enemies that infiltrate the perimeter of the Nieil Town. Until one soldier spotted a four man group of strangers that are Wearing what look like the uniform that the enemy's wear. Crystal's squad investigate and capture the group of strangers and found out that there are the enemy.
One of the soldiers from Crystal squad tortured one of captured enemies because he lost his brother in the battle of the Gate. He was Mercilessly beat the captive to a bloody pulp. You can hear the soldier in joying it. War can make a human being turn to madness, and this soldier was urging for vengeance. And vengeance's is part of the flowing blood of this body of war.
Days go by and the Interviews and torture of the captains continue on. Crystal Focused on the interviewing but some of the soldiers part of the squad join in the torturing of the captives. But One of the captives died from blood loss the squad didn't know until the next morning. To not let the main commander of the squad to find out. Crystals was blackmailed to dump the body into the river of NIE. She did with a little help from the soldiers and now their part of this murder. The Commander didn't find out, but if he did he will arrest the soldier or soldiers That killed an Surrendered enemy. Night Falls Upon the camp on the same day when Crystal dump the body that morning. The Soldiers of the squad sleeps Peacefully and Alive.
Crystal was writing in her journal that she updates every day as she can or remember to. In her tent With a lit candle on the wooden table as she writes of the events that Will unfold this night of a living nightmare.
First she hears of footsteps from a distance and she thought it might be the other soldiers trying to use the restroom So she ignored it and continue writing.
During this time of the late night one the soldiers exit out of the same tent where the captains are tied up in. The soldier was wiping his hands with a cloth like towel To clean his hands from the blood as he exit out of the tent. Just near inches from the entrance of the tent the solders mouth was covered with another man's hand and His throat was slit. One of the soldiers part of The squad come out of the Forest from using the restroom as he's being watch for another soldier at the in a tent. The soldiers that is coming out the forest Had his mouth covered Then his throat slit to not make a noise. The soldier in the tent was shocked and scared that he jumped out of his bed and he raced out of his tent and runs towards the commanders main headquarter tent as he screams out "Intruders are attacking ".
Crystal hears this And she quickly grabs her sword And wakes up her fellow roommate that she shares with the tent. As she's done explaining of what she heard, Her roommate got up and put on her chest plate armor and armor shoulder pads. Then She charge out of the tent Pulling her sword from the hilt and raising is for an attack. Crystal found her chest plate armor and put on her shoulder pad armor as well for elbow armor pads and Protective army gloves.
As She about To grab the hilt of her sword She heard multiple explosion going off in the outside of the tent. She was shook scared Of the loud noises of These multiple explosions Shout out loud And fast like raindrops but more laundry. She ducked her head and cover to the ground of the tent. While the explosions happened outside she can hear the screams and yelling from her fellow comrades.
She was too scared of going outside of the tent so She stayed on the ground and roll under one of the beds. She cover her head with her arms as she Shook fearfully of been found from the attackers.
As she stayed under the bed she fainted and fell asleep. Time goes on and pass as she wakes up Under the bed by a hand shaking her back. She screamed In terror, but the Voice of the person's hand Said "Hay, hay, hay, hay Stay calm...there gone, it's over... come on, The sun is up and it's morning, Let's head back to the town." Crystal Rolled out under The bed and she got up on her two shacking feet.
The voice was coming from this boy that had brown hair and Blood coming out from his head. He said "Come on and follow me." As he opens the tent but Crystal was shaken up From what she thought was a nightmare, but it is real that happened. The boy hold Crystals hands down said. "I am sorry Crystal, but please close your eyes Once you step out of this tent, okay." As he tug on her hand to lead her outside of the tent she covered her eyes with her hand and she walked outside.
The horrors of The Nightmarish events that Happened the night before was a gore fest that a gentle mind like Crystal's at the time That cannot handle the horrible grizzly massacre of a squad 20 to the Surviving of 2 Soldiers and that was Crystal Yauman and Jonathan Glassiye.
