Kapitel 58: Chapter 58 The Juggernaut
POV 3rd person
Location: Police blockade
On a highway, a group of cop and swat vehicles turned into a blockade dozens of guns pointed in one direction above helicopters with snipers hovering in the distance Newscopters circled the area.
Police officer 1: "Are we going to get any support he will be here any minute!"
Police officer 2: "Everyone else is doing damage control trying to get people out of the way or doing res-"
Police officer 1: "I'm talking about big guns a few armored vehicles and an APC ain't going to scratch an itch on his backside!" then suddenly an explosion not too far away rocks the command vehicle.
Police officer 2: "What the hell was th-!"
*Thud* *Thud* *Thud*
*bang* *bang* *bang* *bang*
Distant but slowly getting louder thuds could be heard then the shots could be heard not from the many guns of the blockade but those of the helicopter snipers from above the blockade. Everyone had their focus forward waiting for the monster to arrive.
*Thud* *Thud* *Thud* *Stomp*
At first, no one knew what happened then one police offer got out their binoculars and pointed and yelled out what he saw
Police officer 1: "The Juggernaut is there about a mile out"
Police officer 2: "well what the hell's he doing!?"
Police officer 1: "Nothing but he's crouched down is he surrendering?," the other officer's eyes widened in terror.
Police officer 2: "OPEN FIRE ALL UNITES OPEN FIRE KILL THIS BASTARD!!!!!!"
POV 3rd person
Location: Daily bugle Newschoper
Jameson: "This is J. Jonah Jameson coming to you live The police have just opened fire on the Juggernaut A.K.A Cain Marko who started his rampage just a few minutes ago."
A moment later Juggernaut made his move in one motion he lifted himself from a crouch into a run as he did the concrete where he rested cracked as he ran forward the ground shook the abandoned vehicles on the highway shook and bounced as he ran past.
Jameson: Holy- he's running towards the blockade completely unaffected by the weapons of the police and no so-called heroes to be seen.
Cameraman: "You might have spoken too soon sir" the cameraman pointed to the road behind the barricade was multiple vehicles were coming down the road all of which had an "X" on their sides.
POV 3rd person
Location: Police blockade
The police continued to fire everything they had but it did nothing to even cause a reaction except a guttural chuckle from the Juggernaut. Many began to request a retreat but, if they did Juggernaut would have a clear path to the evacuation point and then Manhattan so retreat wasn't an option all they could do was hope to slow this monster down.
Then the sounds of approaching vehicles came many hoped it was some kind of reinforcement then they saw what it was a group of advanced motorcycles with kids wearing matching uniforms.
'we're screwed'
'Kids they sent kids!'
These were the thoughts of the police upon seeing the group of teens make their way forward some officers moved to stop them.
"(You all will move back to the evacuation point to help guard the civilians)"
As those words entered the officer's minds they all made their way to their vehicles and began to leave.
Cyclops: "Alright you all know the plan Kurt is your group in position?"
Nightcrawler: "Affirmative waiting on your signal" the Juggernaut was closer now and upon seeing the group roared and pushed himself faster
Cyclops: "Alright X-Men take him down!" Cyclops unleashed a blast of crimson red energy from his eyes Jubilee fired a colorful blast and Spike fired volleys of bone spikes, but these did nothing to even slow down the behemoth in fact it seemed to piss him off.
Cyclops: "Kurt Now!' above the Juggernaut a puff of black smoke appeared and out of it came Nightcrawler and Bobby Drake Iceman who lands on Juggernaut.
Iceman: "Hey big guy I think you need to cool off" ice quickly spread across the Juggernaut who tried to get bobby shack bobby off but he held on and the Juggernauts from the shoulder down were enclosed in ice.
Nightcrawler: "Alright time for you to show your face" as he pulls up on the Juggernaut's helmet trying to get it off it doesn't budge. "Why isn't this thing coming off?"
Juggernaut: "You thought I didn't learn from our last fight?" suddenly the ice cracked then shatters and Juggernaut flings both Iceman and Nightcrawler off his back he goes to grab them but a bombardment from the others lets Kurt garb I'm an and teleport over to the group.
Cyclops: "Kurt Bobby what happened?" he and the others continued to fire on the Juggernaut but all they got was a laughing Goliath rushing towards them.
Iceman: "His helmet it wouldn't budge!" he got up and created froze the street in front but the Juggernaut just smashed the ground with his steps destroying the frozen ground.
Cyclops: "Then we go to plan B Kurt get Rogue as close as you can well keep his distracted" Kurt nodded and looked around but Rogue was no we're to be seen.
POV 3rd person
Location: Nearby Rooftop
Pyro: "Man they are so screwed now!" Pyro a young man with dirty blond hair and golden eyes leaned over the edge of the building trying to get a better look at the battle while playing with a lighter.
Toad: "seriously they thought the same trick would work twice and they were supposed to be well trained" a young man with dark brown hair and sickly pale skin and green eyes sat back and watch the battle suddenly his tongue flowed out of his mouth grapes a fly and retired with him not even looking.
Quicksilver: "Where the hell is Domino she's taking forever to grab the package" a young man with platinum white hair with a pair of goggles on his head sat on a beach chair with a pair of binoculars and a six-pack of soda
Avalanche: "Giver her time Pietro she's got this" a young man with black hair and brown eyes stood tall over Pietro taking his binoculars and observing the battle.
Then suddenly the door to the roof opened and a figure could be seen a woman with grey skin with a black circa around one eye and black hair with one line of silver. on her back was the unconscious form of Rogue.
Domino: "Mission accomplished boys let's get out of here" as everyone began to leave Avalanche with his binoculars sees something hovering in the sky but before leaving.
POV Nightfury
Location: Above the battle
"Man I thought they would be doing a lot better against him but they are really struggling to even damage him" I hovered over the battle high enough to not be seen by the news helicopters observing the battle I and [Valstrax Armor] equipped with my shield on my back with [Dawn] and [Steves pickaxe] on my hip.
[It seems their plan to remove his helmet has failed due to it being fused to the rest of his suit]

Suddenly a flash of crimson red covered the entire highway the beam was slightly up avoiding the tops of most buildings.

Cyclops went full force but through the optic blast, the Juggernaut was still standing and slowly pushing forward until he grabbed the head of Cyclops covering his eyes and stopping the blast with his own hands.
"Now let's make an entrance"
POV 3rd person
As everyone watched with complete disbelief and horror the Juggernaut had pushed through the fully powered optic blast of Cyclops whose head now was inside the meaty hand of the Juggernaut.
Then he was there as if he had just appeared out of thin air a man wearing exotic silver armor appeared longsword in mid-swing downward cut off the hand of the Juggernaut that held Cyclops.
for a moment there was no noise except the wind the moment seems to last for hours as everyone, who had been watching saw the Juggernaut take multiple different attacks that did nothing to him now was armless and bleeding from a sword. Then the man turned toward the Juggernaut and said three words that would push the unstoppable back.
Nightfury: "STORM DRAGON ROAAAR!!!!"
