"Preg" -- he grabs my shoulders and pushes me away -- "nant?"

I scrutinise his face. His eyes are round and big. He doesn't believe me. I guess that it's hard to believe when we have always been cautious about getting pregnant. Hell! I even told my mother that Joon Woo is a responsible boy.

"Is it true?" He questions me loudly. "You aren't pranking me, are you?"

I frown at him. "Have I pranked you this badly?"

"Yes." He knits his brows. "Before you agreed to go out with me, you played several pranks on me to test my resolve."

"...those were not pranks." I turn my face toward the floor. "I wanted to see how serious you were."

"You told me that you weren't a virgin." He scowls at me darkly, "That you slept with many guys in middle school and you even got abortion once."

"Um…" I might have gone too ahead of myself.
