"Scott!" Stiles kneeled down looking at his friend's blood stained his face, his skin was turning pale from blood loss.
"Stiles calm down," Elias knelt down bringing his hand to hand to Scott's neck feeling for a pulse. "He's alive, which means he can be saved."
"How?"
"Vampire blood."
"Yeah, but how are we going to find a vampire? He looks like he has minutes left."
"You're looking at one." Elias brought his wrist up to his mouth biting into his skin blood dripped from his mouth as he looked down at his wrist. "This is my first time doing this, let's hope it works."
"Stiles..." Scott managed to barely open his eyes.
"It's alright Scott you're gonna be alright."
Elias quickly brought his wrist to Scott's mouth, "Drink." Scott looked at him before drinking the blood from his arm.
"Vampire blood has a healing effect," Elias pulled his arm back as Scott's wound began to close.
"Now Scott you need to tell us what happened here."
Scott nodded still a little drowsy, leaning into the locker he looked around the locker room, blood-stained most of the floor, his blood.
"I...I was training for the Lacrosse game this Friday, Coach had already wrapped up practice but I wanted to stay a little longer. About a half an hour later I decided to wrap things up, picking up the ball and the gear I came here. I had barely put the gear away when I heard a sound similar to that of nails scratching a chalkboard. That was when I saw them, 2 guys they were wearing the gear from the college in the next city over. Their eyes were a striking blue, like Dereks."
"It means they've taken innocent lives." Derek hale entered the locker room he crossed his arm looking at Scott. "Every beta starts with bright golden eyes, but once they take an innocent life that color fades to a cold blue."
"What about red, the one who bit me and Stiles had red eyes," Scott said still leaning against the locker.
"He was an Alpha, only Alphas have red eyes, they're the only ones capable of creating more werewolves."
"You're Elias right?" Derek asked with a grimace.
"Elias Michaelson and you must be Derek Hale, last time we met wasn't the proper time for introductions."
"Michaelson," Derek muttered under his breath.
"What happened next Scott?" Stiles interrupted
"They both attacked, I held off for a little but eventually it was too much. Even after I stopped fighting back they continued to attack relentlessly." Scott clenched his fist thinking about it.
"The Alpha that turned them is probably the same alpha that bit the both of you," Derek said looking at both Scott and Stiles.
"No, I'm the one that bit both Scott and Stiles," Elias said surprising both Scott and Derek.
"It was you, you're the one that ruined my life?" Scott said doing his best to stand up, "Stiles you knew didn't you?"
"Yeah I found out last week, remember that day I warned you about going to Lydia's party? Elias showed up after you left and explained everything, I didn't tell you later on because of the effects from the full moon."
"Stiles Lydia's party was last Friday, you had all weekend and yesterday to tell me," Scott spoke with a bit of anger in his voice.
"Scott you haven't exactly been the easiest person to talk to lately, all you've cared about is Allison, Lacrosse, and more Allison."
"You guys can continue this little squabble later," Derek said causing both Scott and Stiles to glare at each other before turning back to Derek. "Prove that you're an Alpha."
Elias didn't say a word as his eyes glowed red, causing Derek to nod.
"We need to talk," Derek said seriously.
"Stiles you don't need to wait for me, Scott you're always welcome to join us for training tomorrow."
"Yeah thanks, but no thanks I think I'd rather take my chances with Derek," Scott spoke angrily his eyes shined with hate. They both left the locker room silently, and Derek waited, he wanted to be sure no one was listening to their conversation.
"Can I ask you a question."
"I'm all ears," Elias replied.
"In the woods that night I saw you, you were drinking their blood so I assumed you were a vampire, but your eyes. What are you?"
"Even if I told you, you wouldn't understand, I barely understand it myself. Now let's talk about whatever it is we need to talk about so I can go home."
"I want to make a deal."
"What kind of deal?" Elias was curious.
"The other Alpha, I want to be the one who kills him."
"Why."
"So I can become an Alpha," Derek said plainly.
"What makes you think I'm going to kill the other Alpha." Elias raised an eyebrow as a small smirk formed on his face.
"He's messed with your pack, although neither Scott nor Stiles seems to have accepted it, they are part of your pack. You bit them and someone sent people to harm Scott he would have died had you and Stiles not arrived when you did. He's offended you and you'll reply in kind if the last name Michaelson means what I think it does."
"You know about the Michaelson's?" Elias asked with a small smile.
"I know enough." Derek once again replied stoically.
"Fine, tell me how you killing him personally will make you an Alpha."
"There are 3 ways to become an Alpha, 1st you can inherit if from a parent as long as they die a natural death alpha status will be transferred to the oldest child. 2nd is to kill an alpha yourself, Killing an alpha with your own hands allows the alpha abilities to transfer from one to another. The 3rd was it just a legend."
Elias thought about it for a second before finally replying.
"Deal, but in return, you'll join my pack after you become an Alpha."
"Why, a pack having two Alphas leads to nothing but problems."
"Maybe for Werewolves it is, but I'm not a werewolf. To Werewolves, you may be an Alpha but to me, you're weak you'll join my pack. Feel free to create your own sub-pack, they won't be my responsibility."
"Deal." Derek said causing Elias to nod. "1 last question, what if I'm just playing you so I can become alpha. I could kill you after that. Why are you so confident?"
"I'm a Michaelson...But even if I wasn't, killing you would be easy, whether you're an Alpha or not. You'll see when I confront this other Alpha..." Elias left exiting the locker room leaving Derek to his thoughts.
Next Day
Elias sat in the cafeteria next to him say, Marin, across from them sat both Lydia and Allison. Scott was on the other side of the cafeteria currently giving him the stink eye, whereas Stiles was eating a sandwich as quickly as he could.
"So you two going to the Lacrosse game on Friday?" Lydia asked chewing on a french fry. "Allison has to be there her sweet Scott is playing."
"I don't know are we?" Marin asked looking into Elias's eyes.
"Do you want to go," Elias asked with a small smile.
" I'd love too."
"Seems like we're going, what about you."
"Nope I think I'll pass, Lacrosse is such a stupid sport."
"Lydia 2 days ago that Lacrosse game coming up this Friday meant everything to you," Allison said surprised to hear Lydia's change of opinion.
"Well, some things change," Lydia said grabbing another french fry.
"Eli, we gotta go," Stiles spoke with a serious tone before turning to Lydia with a smile. "Hi, Lydia."
"Hi Stiles," Lydia flashed him a small smile as Allison gasped.
"I'll talk to you later?" Elias asked smiling when Marin nodded he gave her a peck on the lips before standing up and following Stiles.
"Lydia what was that," Allison asked surprised that Lydia had taken an interest in Stiles.
"What?... He's nice."
Hallway
"Stiles, what's going on?" Elias asked confused.
"It's Derek." Stiles continued walking forward eventually reaching a side door. Stepping outside they found Scott standing next to Derek who had his hand to clutch his side. Elias could smell the blood it didn't take enhanced senses to see something had happened.
"You alright?" Elias asked seeing the wound.
"I'm fine, they left a message." Derek handed the paper over to Elias who quickly unrolled it.
"Lacrosse Game, Friday... Scott Mccall, Stiles Stilinski, Derek Hale," There was a line running through each name.
"What does it mean," Scott asked.
"It means this time they won't be leaving any of us alive," Derek said clutching his wound.
