Kapitel 140: Saglit

>Tyler's POV<

From Alice:

Sabi ng dad mo, daan daw kayo sa likod ng bahay, over the wall. May mga zombies doon sa back gate, pero unti lang daw. Wag lang gumawa ng masyadong noise. Reminder ng dad ninyo: taas daw kayo and bring extra bullets and lock all doors and windows kasi yung maindoor hindi raw na-lock. Yung windows, hindi closed. Prepare raw kung sakali may nakapasok ng gate. (PS: please bring atleast 2 grenades.)

We nodded at each other and Dannie motioned us to follow her lead kaya sinundan namin siya papuntang likod at tama nga ang sinabi ng tatay niya. There are only a few zombies and so, we decided to kill them silently but how. Wala akong silencer para sa baril ko. They might hear us.

Papasok sana ako pero pinigilan ako ni Geof. "Ako na ang bahala. Tatlo lang naman sila. Papatayin ko sila gamit ang sword ko." He said to me and we nodded at him and decided to wait patiently.

He climbed on the gate and the moment he landed, he stepped on a twig, making a sound and making the zombies turn to his direction. But instead of panicking, he got his blade and slashed the zombies.

Ang bilis niya. Tumakbo siya papunta sa direksyon ng isang zombie. Lumuhod siya at agad niyang pinutol ang kanyang paa, pero nagko-crawl pa rin yung zombie pero hindi niya muna ito pinansin. Tumakbo siya papunta sa pinakamalapit na zombie papunta sa kanya at agad niyang hinila at pinutulan ng ulo. Nung lumabas ang panibagong ulo niya, tumalon siya, sat on the zombie's shoulder, and killed it. Nung nag-land siya sa sahig, sinaksak niya yung zombie na pinutulan niya ng paa at pagkalingon niya, hinawakan niya ng mas mahigpit yung sword niya at sabay niyang pinugutan ng ulo ang dalawang natitirang zombies. And their blood, splattering on his clothes more than it did when he killed the first zombie.

Tinignan niya kami and he gave us a smile and a thumbs up. "Clear. Pwede na kayong tumaas." Sabi niya and we looked at him for three seconds straight in the eyes because of his awesomeness in the way he handles the sword. And I suddenly remember...

Geof is Sheloah's teacher in the way of the swords.

Inakyat namin ang gate ng dahan-dahan. Ayaw namin makuha ang atensyon ng mg zombies kasi pag gumamit kami ng baril, it's not the best way. Baka makakapasok pa ang ibang zombies dahil sa ginawa naming ingay. We would sacrifice other people's lives and that is not good thing to do.

"Saglit." Bulong ni Geof at napatigil kaming lahat. He peeped a bit to see if the coast on the other side is clear.

Looking at Geof, I find him amazing. Nakilala lng namin siya noong nandoon kami sa Pangasinan, but examining him properly, he's good at using the sword. Ang bilis ng pag-atake niya. Lahat na. Siguro, matagal pa bago mo matutunan ang mga great techniques of using a sword. I want to learn, too kaso... Ewan ko. Parang di ko madyado feel. Kuntento na ako sa paggagamit ng mga baril.

Nakapasok kami sa kitchen. Tinignan kami ni Dannie kaagad. "Naalala niyo pa yung utos ni daddy? I-lock yung main door. Gumawa ng barricade sa mga places papunta ng rooftop. Isa lang yung staircase, so malamang, gagamitin natin yung couch sa 2nd floor lobby bilang harang at kukuha tayo ng grenade sa room ni dad. " Sabi niya and she showed us her dad's key.

"Let's all lock up the doors and windows then and also add barricades to it." Suggest ko and they all nodded at me and we started doing our tasks. Kailangan din namaing bilisang kumilos dahil mabagal kami, we could die in the process and the people who are near us, would get involved and get killed too.
