As for maricar, she's very rude, Duwayne should tell her outright that he has no longer a feeling for her. That they should move on with their on lives and she should stop pestering hannah. Duwayne should make plans now on how to tell hannah about his feelings. Duwayne and Hannah will make a loving couple. i think Duwayne is a romantic and very loving person while Hannah on the other hand based on her character in the story is a submissive and loving person also. As for the grandmother and other characters in the story, i think they are much in favor of hannah to be with duwayne rather than of maricar...
