Lu Fang already knew what went on behind the glass doors of the hotel. His bodyguards have already reported it to him, but he wanted to get Lanying's story.

Hanxi was about to react when Lu Fang stopped him with an arm against his chest. He shook his head at him and directed his gaze back to Lanying, saying, "Forgive Hanxi, Lanying. You do look different today."

While Alfred tried to hold his chuckle, Hanxi was firing up in anger. Gabriel was also taken aback, but seeing his father and Lu Fang seemingly have unity in their reaction, he assumed there was more to the story.
