The battle started as Fearow and Pidgeot immediately took to the skies as their Master commanded them to use Wing Attack. They both charged in, one from the back and one from the front. Liam just stood there and watched as he started giving commands using his psychic link with Tyranitar and told him to be careful and watch his back. But it was too late as Fearow had hit him in the back causing him to slide forward while Pidgeot also hit him in the front but Tyranitar took little to no damage from this attack due to his tough skin and high defense.
He looked at the two bird Pokémon and smirked causing the two bird Pokémon to get a little worked up as they lost their cool and started to attack Tyranitar without listening to their trainer.
The trainer was frustrated as she told them to stop but they had too much pride to take such insults from Tyranitar as he continued to taunt them saying that their attacks were extremely ticklish. They both used Sky Attack and they came crashing down towards Tyranitar. This time they did not use any strategy and they both faced off against Tyranitar. Liam also knew what Tyranitar was doing and was proud to see that Tyranitar was finally using his head.
Pidgeot and Fearow attacked from the front while Tyranitar charged up a Rock Throw. As soon as the two birds came close enough, Tyranitar used Rock Throw as large rocks levitated in the air and moved towards the two fast approaching birds. They were both hit by multiple rocks until they both fell and fainted giving Tyranitar and Liam the win.
Liam did not even bother to say anything to the girl as he turned around and walked away not even knowing her name.
Liam was glad that his Pokémon were starting to learn how to fight with speed and efficiency. He wanted them to be able to fight on their own and think of ways to beat their opponents no matter what because in this world, nobody was going to pamper them. It was a dog eat dog world and the strongest always won. The crowd cheered for Liam while the girl cried as she walked away in shame as it seemed that her Pokémon had lost control, and this was not the first time. She thought she had it under control, but she thought wrong as she decided to go back home and train more self-control over her Pokémon.
Liam returned to his suite, once again seeing the two people that made him quite happy as he hung out with them for the rest of the day. He took them out shopping and had even gone to a museum to go check out historical figures in the Pokémon world and there were some that he had even not heard of before.
He was surprised to see Professor Oak there since he mostly dealt with Kanto but then he remembered how Professor Oak used to be a Pokémon trainer himself so he must have come to the Johto region and dominated it also.
Thinking about Professor Oak Liam suddenly had the urge to battle him for some weird reason. He knew Professor Oak was strong, but he did not know how strong. He was able to bully two of his strongest Pokémon so he wondered if he would even be a match for Professor Oak and could not wait to have a battle with him.
The next day the trainers had a day off as they had finally entered the top 20 part of the Johto League. Liam knew that his matchups were going to be tough so during his off day he spent half the day having fun with his family and the other half training. He had not trained this hard in a long time as he had multiple spars with some of his Pokémon using his devil transformation as he was able to gain the strength of a Pokémon.
They had to go to a secluded area where no eyes would be on them because the energy that they were releasing was an intense and high level.
Several Hyper Beams came towards Liam as he jumped out of the way to dodge it. For some weird reason, he felt faster as he started mocking his Pokémon for being too slow. They also got annoyed that they could not hit a human who was much slower than them and they quickly chased after Liam as he sprinted through the hills.
The battle was so intense that they had traveled several miles without even knowing it and by the time they had finished with their intense training, Liam was laying on the ground breathing heavily while his Pokémon were also pretty tired as a few of them returned to their poke-balls to rest.
Liam knew that after that training a couple of them had gained a few levels but he was too tired to check and he asked Mewtwo to teleport him back to his room as he was too tired to walk back. Mewtwo did as asked as they all just vanished into thin air.
