Kapitel 38: Becareful
Shadow was beyond pissed and started to turn into his devil form, Liam tried to warn him that he should stop, but Shadow didn't listen because it was beyond pissed that this Pokemon was not taking him seriously so Shadow powered up to the max.
Horn's started growing out of Shadow's head, and his eyes turned red with his scales turned all black. Brown just looked at everything that was happening in shock and didn't say anything. Liam was also pissed, and his eyes started to turn red which made Shadow even angrier because they had a strange connection at this point the aura that was coming off of both of them was very evil and also made Snorlax feel a little threatened but not to the end that he was going to get up, so he just sat there and watched and waited.
Shadow used Shadow Movement to appear in front of Snorlax's face and used a vicious Dragon Claw on his eye, leaving a scar there, and Brown frowned at this because he thought they wouldn't be able to leave a mark on Snorlax let alone damage him. Snorlax was furious. His aura started to glow as he got up thrashing about; hyper beams were unleashed in the sky as he also lost control and was beyond angry.
Shadow who had transformed entirely aimed a powerful Hyper Beam at Snorlax and Snorlax unleashed one right back. Still, Shadow noticed that he was losing so he used Quick Attack to dodge to the side barely missing that Hyper Beam and charged towards Snorlax who continued to use Hyper Beam and didn't know that Shadow had sneaked behind him.
Shadow then sent out a powerful Fire Blast that was black color right on the back of Snorlax's head, causing his Hyper Beam to point downwards into the ground, making a hole in the field and making him fall into it. Snorlax struggled to get back up, but Shadow didn't linger and continue to assault a barrage of black devil attacks on Snorlax's back.
Brown had never seen such chaotic opponents before, such as these two. Brown imagined if they were as strong as him, would he even survive an encounter with them. Brown was about to return Snorlax, but Snorlax looked like he had not given up, and Brown didn't want this opportunity to pass, to see such a rare battle.
Brown stared at Liam and noticed that he had also changed, but due to Liam's dreads that were all over his head he couldn't see the tiny horns that had protruded from his head, but he could still see his eyes that were red instead of gold and thought this kid was strange. Brown then turned his attention back to the battle as Snorlax unleashed a powerful Hyper Beam to push him out of the hole, slamming right into Shadow, who was behind him with a Body Slam attack.
They both slammed right into the side of the mountain, and Shadow was stuck in-between Snorlax and the hill so he could not breathe. Shadow had almost died from the weight but used Shadow Movement to slip through Snorlax. Shadow started to gather his dragon energy to use a Dragon Rush attack, but then Brown had enough of this uncontrollable battle.
He had gathered all the information that he had seen and then gave an order to Snorlax to finish this with Giga Impact. Snorlax also charged up to Shadow, and they both hit each other, but Shadow had passed out right away and was sent straight into the mountainside, causing a small crater to appear on there. Shadow changed back to his standard form and fainted.
Liam had also calmed down after seeing this and ran up to Shadow to make sure that he was okay. Brown signed at this and said,'' you haven't changed a bit. You're still the crying little boy that I met back then that always cries whenever he saw his Pokemon faint". Liam glared at Brown and asked him what he wanted from him now; he had already won the battle.
Liam was about to leave to head back to Vermillion City. However, Brown stopped him and looked at Snorlax who still huffing and puffing after the battle and then pointed at Liam telling him that he has to feed Snorlax because he asked for the campaign and he brought that big guy out, so he has to take responsibility.
This caused Liam to trip; he was surprised by this and just laughed and said: "Okay, let's take him back into town, and I'll treat him to some food." Snorlax immediately calmed down and was happy with the outcome. When Brown tried to return Snorlax with Pokeball, he rejected it and made a sign that he's not going anywhere until he receives his food causing Liam to laugh, and the mood lightens up.
They made their way back to the city as they were going Brown was talking to Liam about his battle style. How he shouldn't be using it recklessly, that extraordinary power that he has should be only used in case of an emergency and that it seems like he loses a part of himself every time he uses it, so he was telling him to be careful.
Liam acknowledged his advice and took a note of it. He told him that he was still training at it, so he hasn't perfected it yet; he's trying to make it his power, but for now, he can only prepare and cultivate this newfound power. Brown asked him if he wanted to train with him. Still, Liam said he'd have to think about it because he doesn't know him from anywhere so you can't just have anybody training with him especially with the things that he's been going through which Brown nodded in agreement saying that he couldn't only trust anybody, so he was right about that.
