Black Enterprises was their greatest dread at the time, so they had agreed to collaborate with Savannah. The woman had told them that as long as they got rid of the genius behind Black Enterprises, Black Enterprises would suffer a huge blow. But if they didn't do anything about it, the genius would take over Black Enterprises on the 5th of August. 

It was already threatening when the genius worked behind the scenes. If they took over Black Enterprises, wouldn't The Qin Empire vanish from Olphire? 

Hence they had gladly helped Savannah to hire assassins to finish off the mysterious genius and everyone else who could possibly revive Black Enterprises.
