Kapitel 12: We are in serious trouble part 2
Friday 14th April: 1723: 8:40
I fell to my knees as he said them words. Just what I suspected. We shouldn't have come here. I feel as if this is all my fault. I let my excitement get to me and made me forget about all the dangers. We wasn't ready to come here. I quietly said "I'm sorry." The crew member asked "what for? This isn't your fault." I then answered "I ignored all the dangers. It was clear we wasn't ready." He put his hand on my shoulder and said calmly "we all agreed to come here." I looked up and calmed down a bit and said "thank you Oliver." I suddenly noticed that the sledge escaped the crews hands and sank under water.
I decided we should set off now. So we took the tents down and put them in the bags and made our ways back to the ship. It was much more harder finding our way back to the ship since there was more snow and everything looked the same. All I remember was that stream of water. I didn't really want to cross that again but I guess we must to get to the ship. All I remember was that we went straight. Well I think we did. Well I hope we did because we was heading straight.
After walking for a while we finally found that stream. I walked towards it and looked down. It's seemed wider and deeper. I looked around for the place to cross but I couldn't find anywhere to cross so our only hope was to try and jump across and hope none of us fall in. I went first, then Robert and then the rest. Luckily nobody fell in. We was now near the ship, just a couple of miles away and we will be there.
