I love to read fantasy and historical stories and this book is one of the results. I thought of writing this with a Chinese background, but after much thinking and consideration, I decided to make it an open background. A new world, different countries with different languages and several worlds where magic and non-magic inhabitants exist. My main character is a young and learning Sorceress who got entangled with kingdom conspiracies and struggles between human with powers and those with none. Then her predecessor gave her the task to bring back balance to this chaotic mythical world. No harem, no rape, no face slapping, no sex. There might be a few violence but I described them vaguely and in simple terms. I'll try my best to give a good story. If I have mistakes, tell me and I'm open to listen. I wish reviews will help me with the things I missed in the story. So, please, give constructive criticisms. I prefer to write slowly so I can study a chapter well before publishing than writing for fast updates but making my story suffer. I also want to write with lesser or no plotholes. In case, I have one or if the characters gave off a poor show of emotions, just tell me in the comment. I would appreciate it. I think that's all I want to say. This story is amazing,intriguing.author Joanb's writing takes us into the wonderful world of imagination.READERS I BET U'D LOVE READING THIS LOVELY BOOK.I came across this writer in "one nyt with the billionaire".I'm impressed with her stupendous work and I support her work.
Stumbled across this (can't remember how now) as I was looking for a free original to read and recommend to my readers. It's been quite some time since I actually manage to find a gem that has (i) good story and (ii) regular updates (too many originals that just gets dropped or there's too long a gap between chapters). This novel has all that you need, and more. Writing Quality: top notch, and any grammatical errors are negligible to me as English isn't my first language. Stability of Updates: from what I see, it's been pretty good and I have faith in the Author's ability to continue. Story Development: There are many twists and turns, but not the confusing type. Rather, the way the Author reveals the secrets, you feel like you're the FL as she is discovering it at the same time as you are. It's not too slow or too fast. The pacing is just nice. Character Design: All are portrayed vividly and you'll definitely fall in love with the MC/FL and pity the ML. The characters are real and relatable, not over the top like being overly perfect. You see them grow, World Background: It's a fantasy world with dragons and such (I'm a sucker for dragons). Very well described and truly beautiful. All the best, Author.
This is one of my favorite story. Ming is an example of a husband that made a mistake. Xinyi is a wife that was hurt from what her husband said. I love the mother-in-law joyful attitude. Even the animals. Thank for the beautiful story.

A story of many hidden mysteries, comedy, action, romance, drama, and magical beings and fruits. And a Kung Fu panda or sort. Hahaa. I love it all. This is enjoyable to read. So refreshing, not one bit boring. Kudos to the author.

This story is really good. I've read Chinese stories like this but this one has its own charm as well. Enjoyable reads with no vengeance, or harem or rape. Well, this author is really good and never write those kinds of stories. Her stories are always in general mode. Never once she has a rated 18+. I'm her avid fan. Keep it up, author JoanB.

This is my first Chinese background story. This is a heart-warming story and I'll try to mix in comedy as well. So I hope you'll support his book. Enjoy.
the story isnt bad and i do believe that it has a lot of potential, it seems quite similar though not exactly the same or anything to Tong Ling Fei / Psychic Princess. the main difference being the MC in Psychic princess can see ghosts and spiritual beings while this novel has animals/ spiritual animals. i dont know know how far the similarity goes but at least until chapter 13ish, they seem similar.
