"So that was your semblance?" Coco questioned with a smirk at the sight of Arthur rocking Fairy, as she had heard him call her, back and forth, a goofy smile on her face.
Arthur took a moment to answer "I don't think so…" he said "I was able to do that before I unlocked my aura, so it's probably not. Though it could also have something to do with my aura, or more specifically my soul… I guess?"
"Huh, never heard of someone being able to use their semblance before having their aura unlocked" she admitted "So, whatsit do? Looked like some type of aura amplification or general healing type of… semblance? Do we still call it semblance?"
"Honestly, I haven't used it much, I fully used it like once a month ago, but that had… consequences. And apart from that I tried to practice with it once back before initiation, after that, things went… haywire, to say the least" he said with an awkward smile and twitch on his lips as he remembered his numerous injuries he's had since beginning at Beacon.
"Oh, so using that 'Semblance' has consequences?" she air quoted "What type? The usual blackout from overuse of your aura or something else?" she questioned.
"Well, I disintegrated into an innumerable amount of particles, essentially erasing myself from existence before being reconstruct in a forest with a book and surrounded by a pack of hungry Beowolves and had to fight them off with my… 'bare', hands, somehow surviving and then being saved by Ruby's mother who took me too her house and bandaged up my mangled body, that's the short version" he explained chuckling at both Coco's and Fairy's dropped jaws.
"You're kidding…" Coco muttered
"I'm not, I did actually fight a pack of Beowolves unarmed" he answered seriously.
"Not that! The disintegration thing! So those lights were your body disintegrating!? Why would you use it!?" Coco screamed at first but lowered her voice to a whisper scream as Arthur flinched and quickly indicated to the others within the Café who were now staring at her. Fairy nodding along to what she said, displeased that Arthur would do something that could possibly hurt himself, even if it did heal her throat somewhat, she still didn't want her Jester getting hurt.
Arthur contemplated for a moment about when he had previously used Vita, or something like Vita, suddenly his eyes widened in realization as he face palmed, before reaching to the satchel his Tome was in that hung from his hip, opening it onehandedly, disregarding the confused and curious gazes he was getting from Coco and Fairy.
"Here it is" he muttered as the Tome opened to the Chapter on skills his eyes specifically focusing on two of the skills that were listed on the page.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
{F = E} Vita [Can shape Life to the users will]
-- Sana (Healing) {New}
-- Salvator (Saviour of the Damned) {Now Sub skill to Vita}
.
{G} Mortem [Can shape Death to the users will]
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
'So, I used 'Vita' and not 'Salvator' then' he thought 'And that skill, 'Saviour of the Damned' is gone and been replaced as a sub skill? Is it?' he questioned no one in particular 'And why wasn't I informed of this? I know you can hear me Ashe, I turned on the internal messaging function that YOU made, and it would be pretty useless if I got the message now, so don't you even!'
Just as he commented that a golden page appeared floating in front of him, this is what he had learnt the internal messaging function meant, instead of the information immediately appearing in his head it instead appears as a slightly transparent golden page which no one else could see.

Still working out the kinks, should be fixed now~
Take care of the little Fairy for me will you? I know it's a little redundant but she looks like she could use a caring big brother.
Love,
Ashe
Ps. seriously take care of her, I will paper cut you, I'm a book, don't tempt me, I have plenty of ammo.

Arthur chuckled, once again drawing two confused gazes. "You okay there? You're sort of just staring at the table and laughing to yourself, it's getting really weird" Coco commented as Fairy nodded to agree with her before indicating to the Tome in Arthurs hand. "Right, and what's with the book? And why does it have to be so shiny?" she translated, adding her own bit about the oddly shining pages of the Tome
"This is the book I had with me when I woke up in the forest on patch, it sort of just logs things about myself, and one of them was what I just did when I healed Fairy's throat." He explained
"Oh, then what did it say? It explain the whole 'disintegration' problem?"
"Not really, though I do think I know why, they were two different abilities; the one I just used on Fairy is called 'Sana' while the disintegration one is called 'Salvator'" causing the both of them to tilt their heads once again, Coco looking more frustrated than confused at this point. "In English please?" she requested
"Oh, right, Sana means Heal while Salvator means Saviour. And Salvator is the one that caused that whole debacle" he answered.
"Riiight, you know, after everything I've heard about you from Kardia, self-immolation seems pretty apt" Coco chuckled causing Arthur to tilt his head, at the same time Velvet walked over with a tray upon which various pastries were, the woman that Arthur guessed was her mother walking next to her with a wide grin, also carrying a tray but this time with glasses and mugs on it filled with various drinks, most likely coffee orientated from the smell.
"Hello there" Velvet's mother said "Go on, say hello" she whispered to Velvet, nudging her with her arm, to which Velvet just looked back at her with a pleading gaze, still unsure about how she should act around Arthur after the incident in the dining hall at Beacon.
"Don't bother, your already going shopping with him, there's no escaping, you were going to have to deal with it at some point, dear." Her mother surprising Velvet in the process "Oh yeah, I know, you may not say anything, but I have ears, everywhere" she whispered in a strangely ominous voice into Velvet's ear "isn't that right Coco?" she asked looking to Coco as she also placed the tray down on the table, pushing it against the wall so that there was enough space for Velvet's tray.
"That's right ms. Scarlatina, everywhere" Coco agreed giving an even wider grin than Velvet's mother, all while staring directly at Velvet, who gave her the most unintimidating 'Traitor' glare she could muster.
Velvet looked to her mother once again but only got a 'go ahead' gesture from her, she then turned to her father who was watching them from the counter at the front of the store, as he put his hands up saying to keep him out of this.
Letting out an odd sound which Arthur could only assume was a squeak of resignation, Velvet turned back to him, her head down as she muttered 'hello…' in the lowest voice she could must, her voice still cracking slightly as she said it, her ears drooping over her head.
"I suppose that will have to do" Velvet's mother let out a exasperated sigh, "Now, how long are you going to stand there? I'm pretty sure there's a Fairy here who would like her cake. Isn't that right?" she asked as Fairy rapidly nodded her head in agreement.
"R-right" Velvet replied quickly putting the tray onto the table next to the drinks, then she attempted to take the seat next to Coco but was quickly butted away as her mother quickly dove into the seat, giving her a wide, toothy grin once she had settled into it. "Go ahead, take a seat" she said, holding her hand out to the empty seat in front of here where Fairy had been sitting previously.
Velvet let out a nervous and prolonged squeak as she slowly sat down as far away as she could get from Arthur while still remaining on the seat, still staring at the ground her hands on her knees, trying to make herself look as small as possible and not attract Arthur's attention. Failing wholeheartedly as it just made her even more noticeable for just how awkward she was being.
Velvet's mother rolled her eyes at her display, "Anyways" she exclaimed turning to Arthur "I suppose I should introduce myself, Marion Scarlatina, I'm sure you've guessed by now, but I'm Velvet's mother, and that handsome man over there…" she said indicating to the bar "is my husband, Albus and lastly, the Prince and Princess are Ciocco and Vanilla, my youngest." She said with a wide, thankful smile to Arthur due to his willingness to go along with their fantasies.
Arthur gave a short laugh "Well, I am Arthur Fielder, first year at Beacon" he lightly bowed his head "But, I'm guessing you already knew that." He added.
"Yep, just didn't have a face to put to my daughters date till now" she chuckled.
"I-it's not a… date…" Velvet tried to say, her voice falling away as she couldn't even refute that this was for all intents and purposes a date, just with Coco also being there. Her face going scarlet as a puff of smoke burst from her head as she tried to become even smaller than she already was.
As she was shrinking, Velvet's eyes notice a pair of pale white legs which drew her attention, looking up from the ground Velvet saw Fairy staring intently at the tray filled with the delectable delicacies, following her gaze Velvet saw she was specifically staring at a slice of flan, the same Fairy had seen in the menu, the so named 'Winter Wonderflan'. One of Velvet's biggest regrets to this day was ever suggesting that name when her mother had first come up with the recipe.
Picking up the plate Velvet slowly began to move it up and down to gauge if it truly was what had gotten Fairy's attention, lo and behold, as the plate went up, so did Fairy's head, it went down, so followed, if it went closer to her, so too did her head as she leaned forward as well.
Velvet giggled and placed the plate on the table in front of Arthur along with a small pastry fork. Fairy quickly looked to Velvet who gave her a nod with a warm smile. Immediately her face lit upas she bounced on Arthur's lap clapping her hands, which then quickly went for the pastry fork, but freezing just as she was about to pick it up.
Frowning, she pulled her hand back and tilted her head up to Arthur, lightly hitting her head against his head to get his attention from his talk with Marion.
"Hmm?" Arthur murmured looking down to Fairy who then raised her hands in front of herself so that Arthur could see them as she attempted to close them, but struggling to even curl her fingers due to the damage to the nerves in her arms from whatever caused all her injuries.
With a soft smile Arthur said "I see" as he lifted his hand and turned the plate with the flan towards himself and picked up the fork, cutting a small piece of the flan with the edge of the fork and scooping it up before bringing it up to Fairy's mouth, who immediately chomped down onto the fork with enough strength that Arthur feared she may have either damaged her teeth or break the fork.
The moment the flan touched her tongue her face lit up so bright she almost seemed to glow her face melting into pure bliss as she savoured it, causing just about everyone who saw her to chuckle in response with warm smiles as they watched her happily eat the rest of it with assistance from Arthur who would take bites of the cheesecake that had been brought for him after he gave her a piece of her own.

"Silky! Where are you!" Jazz screamed through the streets of Vale, "Sorry, sir? Have you seen a little girl, hair like cinnamon, white skin, wearing a ragged dress?" she asked a man just as he exited a quaint little Café and patisserie with his family.
The man thought for a moment before saying "Actually, I did" he replied.
"Really!? Where!?" she nearly screamed grabbing the man by his shoulder and shaking him until he was dizzy.
"In… there…" he muttered pointing to the Café with his thumb.
"Thank you!" Jazz screamed quickly bolting into the store leaving the man wobbling and being held up by his wife.
Bolting into the Café, Jazz's head darted from side to side searching for the girl named Silky "Come on, Silky… where are yo-" just then, giggling filled the entire store, Jazz's head quickly turned to the origin of the sound, her body slumping in relief as she saw the girl called Silky a smile filling her face as she saw something she hadn't seen since Silky had first come to her orphanage, a smile. And not just any smile, a genuine smile, one so pure that it was infectious.
Yet a frown quickly appeared on her face as she also noticed that she was sitting atop the lap of a strange white haired boy in one of the booths along with three women, all with light smiles on their faces as they watched Silky's uncontrollable laughter as she was tickled by the white haired boy.
"Silky!"
