Cacha closed her eyes "Yes. But I'm okay now. Mum said it's normal, the baby may start pushing. Looks like he can't wait to see us"
"Where was Aoi ? Did she check you?"
"She and Brother Koji went for date. Don't get angry at them, I was the one who let them go on date and forbade everyone to tell you"
"Aoi and Koji on date ? since when ?"
Cacha pushed his chest away then glared at him "It's been few days. How come you didn't know ? you and brother Koji are together every day"
"He never tell me. How should I know ?"
"Can't you see from his face or his attitude or his behaviour? didn't wonder why he brough so many goods everyday ? "
"I didn't pay attention. I only have eye on my wife. I notice any slight change on her"
Cacha was speechless.
"Lets go back to our room and have rest" Kenichi scooped her on his arms.
"Let me walk"
"No. Your belly was not well"
They did not sleep straightaway. They said on the bed and had a pure conversation.
"Darling, I forgot to tell you that mother came this morning. She stayed until late afternoon"
"Did she ?" Kenichi was surprise.
"She and uncle came together. They brought me some food and uncle helped to check the baby as well. Darling, I hope that my relationship with Mother can be like my sisters and my mother"
Kenichi smiled weekly "Don't push your self. My mother is not flexible like Mum. Even me, her son, can't handle her. It's late now, lets sleep"
Since her belly was big, Cacha was more confortable to sleep on her side. Her belly was against Kenichi's stomach. He could sense the baby movement. Not only the baby moved more frequent then usual, the the movements were also stronger.
Cacha was already asleep but her sleep was not deep. Her eyebrows had were slightly twiched as the baby kicked.
He was very sorry for her but nothing he could do. He just stroke her belly gently "Little one, Mum is tired, she needs to have a good rest now. Please be good boy, let mum rest well, okay ?"
Cacha had been talking to the baby ever since she was pregnant. Kenichi was not sure if the baby understood them, Nonetheless no harm to have a try
Probably the baby was very obedient to his father or may be he loved his mother so much. The baby movement gradually became lighter and less frequent.
For the next few days, Cacha had the same contractions. It last for few hours before disappeared.
When they went to the obstetrician for weekly check-up, the doctor told them to get ready. The baby could come out at anytime.
Friday afternoon, Cacha felt her belly was different then usual. The pushing sensational was much stronger and more intense. She held her belly "Mum, my tummy is weird. I can feel the baby pushing down"
Mrs Feng had bore three children as well as assist her daughters in law and her own daughters during their labour. She knew that Cacha had going in to early stage of labour "You may start on labour. Keep walking here and there. It helps you to fastened the process"
"Okay"
For about an hour Mrs Feng held Cacha and walked with her here and there. They stopped when Cacha had the contraction.
Sakura and Aunty Mei watched their lady boss from afar. They pitied the young lady
"Poor madam !" Aunty Mei signed
"She must be in pain" Sakura sobbed. She was getting softer after worked there.
Uncle Hiro and Uncle Ryu signed. They were also sorry for Cacha but they could not do anything. She had her mother with her who had more experience about giving birth
Grandma and Grandpa Anderson were very distressed. They were sorry for the young lady to go through that painful process.
"Let her rest" Grandma told Mrs Feng.
"No. This will help her"
"Just do C-section" Grandpa added.
Mr Feng loved his youngest one the most but he also wanted the best for her "Let her walk for few minutes"
It was in September, the weather was still hot. Cacha was sweating alot.
"Mum.. Can I have a rest ?"
"Okay"
Aoi gently wipped the respirations on Cacha's forehead "Madam, Do you want to have a hot bathe ? it help alot"
"I do"
Sakura who was on the side of the sofa rushed to prepare the hot bathe. When the bathe was ready, she and Aoi helped Cacha to sit on the bath.
Aftor hot bathe, Cacha felt much better. Mrs Feng fecthed her from her room and walked her to dinning room. Aunty Mei specially cooked fish porridge. It was easy for her to digest.
Cacha stared at her food and looked at her mum with pitiful expression "Mum, I don't want to eat"
"You should eat. You need strength to push" Mrs Feng patiently coaxed Cacha to eat spoon by spoon.
Grandma and Grandpa Anderson had no appetite at all. "Where is Finlay ? why is he not home yet ?" Grandma was unhappy.
"I'm here. Why ? " Kenichi walked to his wife.
"Why are you so late ?" Grandpa was very cross.
"I've urgent meeting this afternoon. What's wrong ?"
"Have shower first and have your dinner" Mr Feng said calmly.
"Okay"
Kenichi had shower and had his dinner alone. Mrs Feng had brought Cacha for walk again.
"Sir, Madam is in labour since afternoon" Aunty Mei told Kenichi before he finished his meal.
"What did you say ? where is she ?"
"Her mother take her for walk to speed up the processing"
Kenichi put his fork and rushed to find Cacha.
"Mum, it's painful" Cacha held her belly as the contraction stroke. Mrs Feng and Aoi held her hands.
"Mum knows. You have to keep walking..Okay ?"
"Mum, Cacha is in pain. Can she just lie down ?" Kenichi took Cacha's hand from Aoi. One hand held her hand and one held her waist.
"Kenichi, if she lie down, the labout take longer, she will suffer longer too" Mrs Feng said patiently.
Kenichi was speechless. "Should we take her to hospital instead? "
"Not yet. The interval is still roughly five minutes" Aoi said.
"Take her to walk up and down the stair. Hurry !!" Mrs Feng said.
"It's too hard for her" Grandma stopped them.
"No. she can do it. Alice and Jasmine did the same when they were on labour. Sasha too" Mr Feng said.
Kenichi and the Anderson could not rebuke at all. Mr and Mrs Feng had to much experience when It come to labour.
Kenichi chose the shortest stairs and helped Cacha to walk up and down the stairs.
After three times, Cacha stopped. She felt water came out from her vigina "I think my water broke"
She held her belly squatted down "Darling, It's so painful. Mum.."
Without further ado, Kenichi carrid her to the couch.
Mrs Feng sat next to Cacha. She held her hand with waterly eyes. "My little Cacha is strong, you can do it" Her voice was still calm.
Cacha squeezed Kenichi hand which held her hand and screamed "Ahh.. so painful"
Aoi just came from outside. She asked Koji to prepare the car "Lets go to hospital !!"
Kenichi scooped Cacha and carried her. Aoi followed them with Cacha's luggage that had been prepared days ago.
