"She's our lady boss" The managing director said to group of ladies who were talking about woman on boss side.
"huh ?" The ladies were shocked.
"when did he get married ?" The manager next to him asked.
"Last October"
"For real ?"
"Seriously? "
"Of course. I attended their wedding. it was very wonderfull wedding" The maging director was annoyed by the question.
"Arranged marriage ?" The other asked.
"No. They were dating for while. Oh.. yhr CEO's assistant from headquarter told me that Boss loves his wife dearly. So, Watch your mouth and actions, made sure you don't offend lady boss in anyway if you still want to work here. He emphasised that make boss angry is far more better than make lady boss displease"
"Lady boss, is she that scary ?" someone asked.
"Well..."
Yu laughed. He had been eavesdropping for sometime "She is not scary at all. She is very gentle"
"Sir.." The managing director met Yu before. He knew his boss had two assitants, Jun Matsunaga and him.
Yu bowed to the director. Then, he continued "It's just boss too overprotective. You can't blame him. She is a foreigner. she come here and leave her family behind for him, so.. he make sure she's happy and well"
"We understood"
Yu smiled "Good. Better for you to get ready. Oh.. Lady boss loves sweet snack"
"Thank you sir" The restaurant manager ordered the chefs to prepare some snack directly.
Kenichi was already in his office. It was allocated on the group floor of the main bulding. His one was at the same room with the rest. Actually, it was just a big table on the far corner of room . He only went there once a while, preserved a room special for him was just waste of space. For any private meeting of discussion, there were two small meeting rooms were available.
"You just sit here. Yu will bring your laptop soon. It help to kill your time" Kenichi pulled his chair and let her sit there.
"Okay" From the corner of her eyes, Cacha noticed the staffs there peeped at her and her husband.
She was uneased "Should I wait for you outside or on the lounge area ?"
"No. stay here. Outside is too cold and lounge are is too crowded"
"But.."
The phone on one of the table rang. The lady who owned the desk answered it.
"Yes" She put the receiver back after one words and muttered something to her colleagues. On few seconds, they all stared back at their computer, concentrating on their work
Kenichi smiled. He understood why his wife was hestitate to stay there. He looked around and was satisfied to see everyone was back to work.
They actuly did not do any work. The lady was asked by her manager to tell her colleagues to check email from their manager. The email was short but very important. it only consisted of one sentense 'Boss bring his wife, please behave'
"Boss" Yu smiled. He entered the room with two laptop suitcases.
Kenichi took the pink one and opened it. He placed the laptop on the desk "I'm going to the meeting. I should be back by lunchtime"
"Don't worry about me. Go head"
He kissed her on her forehead before he left.
Cacha glared at him "It's in the office"
"I know. so what ?"
Cach was speechless. "Just go now, They are waiting for you"
"Alright. I'll be back soon" He pecked her lips lightly once more before ran away.
The staffs there were staring at their conputer but it did not mean they did not see their boss act. In no time, the company internal chatting form was floaded with gossip
'I say him kiss her openly"
"Me too"
"Look how he serves him."
"Why did not I see this side one him before"
"We must be blind
"boss is more handsome after marriage"
"Stop all the bullshit and back to work !" The managing director typed a massage before he went to meeting.
His warning was not effective until he sent another one 'for anyone who are still not working. I'm going to count it as half day leave. It will effect your absence record which is one of the considerations of your next year bonus and increase of remuneration'.
Money was really powerfull. Everyone was back to work in instant. They did not even bother when the kitchen sent lady boss a plate of delicious snack and drink.
Kenichi went inside the meeting room. He sat down "Good morning everyone"
"Morning sir"
"Sir, This is our new head of accounting" The managing director pointed at a man at the far corner.
Kenichi had good memory when I came to people face. He recognised the man but not his name "Did you work with me before ?"
"Yes sir" the man ducked his head. He was scare that boss would fire him. Until two year ago, he used to work under Kenichi but never on his side. He openly told everyone how much he dislike him.
Kenichi did not ask any further and began the meeting. He was being soft on this meeting, but still the meeting took a while. It even finished longer than expected. He adjourned the meeting at 1.30
Kenichi stayed to have a talk with the managing director after everyone left. When he was out of the meeting room, the new employee blocked him "Sir"
"Do you need me ?"
he bowed his head "Sir, I'm sorry. I did offence you a lot in the past and always against you. Please don't fire me. I need this job. My family anr me move here to look after my ageing parents. I aslo"
"I'm not unreasonable person. I have no reason to sack you as long as you do your job properly"
The new employee bowed again "Thank you sir. I'll do my best. Sir, that company is shrinking. Since you left, they only rely on that project and no other in plan. The profit is"
Kenichi had left that company, so he did not want to know anything about them "It's their problem and has nothing to do with me. It's nearly pass lunch time, I need to go. My wife is waiting for me to have lunch, I can't let her wait and starve her self. If you have any important matter about work, you can see me on others day. I'll be here for the next two weeks"
"I'm sorry sir. Please enjoy your lunch"
Kenichi nodded and went to his office. He smiled when he saw how serious she was infront of her laptop. He stood behind her and put his lips next to her ear "What are you doing ?"
Cacha jumped and patted her chest His actioned frightened her "You scared me. I'm working on our plan to earn more money. What time is it ?"
"Almost two. Sorry for make you wait so long. You must be starving"
Cacha shook her head "No, I'm still full. athe snack from the kitchen is delicious. I clean one plate" She pointed at an empty plate.
Kenichi laughed "That's good that you're full. Unfortunately , I'm starving"
"Okay. Lets go" Cacha saved her file and closed her laptop.
"Just leave if there. Yu will come shortly to pack yours and mine and bring them back home"
Still, Cacha put the on the laptop back and zipped properly. It was her habit from young age.
