Kapitel 146: Chapter 146
Three weeks was not short but it was also noy ling enough for Kenichi. During that time, he had a lot of thing to do and his main priority was their new house. The renovation was finalised a week after he was back from Sydney. The furniture and everything were delivered sortly after. Then, he moved all his belonging as well as hers there over the weekend.
Cacha was the same. Three weeks were too long for her to be able to meet him again. On the other hand, it was too short for her to spend time with her beloved parents, siblings and nephews before he finally went away again. On her departure day, she was sent to airport my her parents only. She refused the idea for the whole family came to send her away. She was not little kid anymore.
Kenichi was still in the office when got her text message telling him that she boarded the flight. He grinned from ear to ear before concluded his day and went home. His aim for that night wS to have a good rest because the next day was his big day. He should be energized and fresh when she saw him again.
However, he could not sleep well at all. He tossed and turned foe hours and was only able to close his eyes at mid night. At 2 o'clock he was awaken. He tried to sleep again but woke up again at 4. After that, he could not sleep again at all.
He got off just after 5 and took a fresh shower. He took his time to shave and ensure no stubbles on his lower face before wore a simple black polo shirt and blue jeans. He also went to do final check her room. The bed on her room was covered by pink linen, the blanket was pink as well. He patted a stacked of boxes at the corner next to the cupboard and a luggage that were waiting for the owner. She did not let him to touch them but waited for her to come to unpacked them. After he was sure every thing was ready, he went to the airport.
He arrived at the airport too early, it was still about an hour away from the departure scheduled. So, he used his free time to check his email and did easy job.
"Boss, we have urgent documents for you to sign. what time will you be here ?" His assistant called him.
"I'll work from home today"
"I'll come to you place now"
"I'm in the airport"
"Right. I'll be there soon"
"Alright. Also bring the car" He just remembered how his future mother in law loved to pack so many food. He guessed she would bring heavy luggage with her.
He checked his watch, it was 10 minutes before 9, peeped on the arrival screen, her light number was not there yet. He signed and drank his coffee and back to his phone.
Ten minutes later, He glanced at the departure notice board. He saw on the arrival screen that her flight had been landed in time. So, he put his phone on his pocket and rushed to the gate, eventhough he knew that she would be there in at least for another half an hour.
He were focusing on people merging from inside to catch her glance
"Boss, where are you ?" His assistant called again.
"Right side of the entrance"
His assistant spotted him easily and ran to his side "Boss, please sign this"
He read it the file before he signed it.
"Here you are. Wait here with me"
"Are you waiting for some one ?" His assistant asked
"Yes"
This person must be very importand until big boss came personally. His assistant was wonder who he was.
Kenichi focused his gaze at the gate. His lips curled up when he saw familiar face merged from inside. He walked as fast as he could to reach her.
Cacha on the other side of the roo. worked hard to find him. She was startled when suddently a strong hand grabbed her hand which dragged her heavy suitcase.
"Oniichan" she was half screamed when she was him on her right side. She dropped her suitcases and flew to his embrace.
"Do you miss me" He hugged her by her waist
"so much. Did you miss me ? "
He smiled and kisses her lips, action was better than words. He did not care if people stared at them, he just want to hold his little girl again. His assistant was dumpstruck. He had known his boss for years, he never saw his boss touch any woman's hand not mentioned hugging and kissing. But now, In front of his eyes, His boss was kissing a girl in public " Heaven.... am I dreaming"
"Why do you still have such a big luggage ?" Kenichi asked after he was satisfied with the welcome kisses.
"You know mum. She insisted to pack a lot of food. eldesr sister did not help either"
"Boss" His assistant grinned.
"Babe, He is my personal assistant but like a brother to me. so Just called his first name Jun" Kenichi introduced them in Japanese.
"Hello Miss" Jun bowed politely.
"Hello, Nice to meet you. Just call me Charlene" she overed her hand. Jun shoke hand with her awkwardly. He tried hard to remember where he heard her name, it sounded familiar to him.
"Speaking about mum. Call her first" he dialed the Feng family landline.
"Hello" Mrs Feng answered the call at the first ring. She had been waiting for her youngest born to call.
"Mum, it's Kenichi. Cacha is with me now. Please wait a moment" He handed the phone to Cacha and let her talked in private.
He signalled Jun to come closer to him "Bring the luggage to my new place. We will be home after lunch. She is going to start the landscape for our second project after next week. As you know, She will only work from monday to wednesday. Help me to arrange everything"
"ah.." he remembered now. She was the candidate that they hired on his boss order. So it turned up, she was their future lady boss.
"She is.."
"My future wife" Kenichi smiled.
"what ?!" Jun was dumpstruck.
Cacha did not speak long with her mother. She only informed her that she already there, save and sound before ended the call.
She walked to his side and returned his phone back. Kenichi took the phone and gave her a bottle of milk tea. She smiled "Wow.. you still remember I love this one"
"Of course" He waited for her to drink and closed the lid.
"Are you hungry ?"
"Not really"
"I am hungry. lets find something to eat and let Jun take your suitcases"
