Kapitel 166: Mornbeast's Assault

"Who the hell are you?!" The pale man asked. Sweat dripped down his face, and he had no idea how to react to Alaric.

Alaric continued smiling and asked the question again, "so? Will you pledge your loyalty to me?"

The pale man's face contorted in anger, "that was a fluke! It doesn't change anything; we are still not going to follow you.

"Really?" Alaric walked back out to the wooden platform and stepped up on stage.

He yelled in a powerful voice, "citizens of the Empire! I, Alaric, have stopped the monster horde on my own. I have brought relief to those who wish it and eased the burdens of those who are suffering. Do you long to continue following the Empire who ignores your wishes? Who sees you all as numbers to add to their large force? If you wish to follow me, the king of the Reark Kingdom, come out of your homes!!"

Slowly, some people began peaking their heads out of their homes. The different citizens wanted to see who would step out first.
