"Si...CEO Wan, I don't deserve it."  She said busconsciously. She thought Wan Jia was doing this because they were both the Lu brothers' women.

Wan Jia was pleased by her humility. "You totally do. You were so hardworking as my assistant that I felt you were too good for the job. You deserve much better." 

Against this point, no one could retaliate. The new designers like Lin Ye and Xia Rou did not know much about Su Ling's work but those from EFW like Xiao Rong knew it. Su Ling was indeed so hardworking that when she was no longer Xiao Rong's assistant, the latter was unwilling to let her go. 

But, such rare people should be let off so they can be where they deserve to be, like in the Vice CEO's office of MAX. 

Since Wan Jia thought she deserved it due to her own qualifications, Su Ling had nothing more to be stubborn about.
