'Oak academy's very first student... Is this some kind of scam?' Eden thought. 'Nah it must be okay he has the moonlight elemental journal that I wont be able to get anywhere else. '
"So where is Oak academy located?" asked Eden. This guy surely must have a plan if he's trying to recruit people to his school.
"We don't have an academy, why have a designated place of learning when the whole world is your oyster!" replied headmaster Oak. "With me you'll be traveling throughout the entirety of the kingdom. If you are worried about that academy competition here take a look."
Headmaster Oak took out a small paper that was a certificate from the King of Rivenhart establishing that he is in person, the headmaster of Oak Academy. It was impossible to forge due to the certificate being marked by the royal court.
"If you are worried about getting stronger, I guarantee that your growth wont be stunted and in fact you might even be stronger than those who took the crystal ball examination when you did, that girl with the four colors and the kid with the the dual traits of water and dark".
"Aerith and Morgan? Alright headmaster, what about resources? And are we going to compete in the academy competitions next year?" Eden questioned.
"You can worry about your own growth right now, everything else I will worry about, I promise you made the right decision. I will inform your mother". The headmaster answered resolutely. "For two more weeks, continue your meditation and break open your elemental sight. I will be going off to collect a few things before returning."
There were no more questions.
------
Over the next few days, Eden continued to practice the meditation techniques followed by the sudden explosion of energy. Compress. Compress. Compress. And then explode.
It was imperative for Eden to do this. According to the meditation manual given to him by Ezel. He would need continue doing so to continually grow his Mana heart.
The Mana heart was the source of magical energy for everyone. If the Mana heart was ever injured, that person would lose all their strength and accumulation. If it was destroyed, that person would lose their ability to commune with the elements.
Eden had repeated this over and over to the point of exhaustion. He would perform the techniques and pass out every time as his body would need to recover. He had been going at it for the last four days, doing so every time he woke up.
"One more time!". shouted Eden.
'Compression! Compression! Compression!' urged on Eden.
'Now time for the explosion of Mana!'
The Mana continued to condense around his Mana heart, fortifying it's walls and strengthen his core. Wave of energy weaved around Eden basking him in the glorious colors of the earth and light elements.
The waves continued on for a few hours. It was night. Eden opened his eyes and gasped. He could see the yellow earth elements as well as the white light elements. The elements that were close to him changed colors, from yellow to green, from white to purple as they entered his body.
One obtained elemental sight after countlessly practicing the meditation technique, becoming used to the feel of the elements and strengthening their mana heart. The growth and strength of the mana heart was the key to advancing through the level stages.
He began drawing the elements to him. He could see the elements around be drawn to him. Dancing elemental orbs.
'I did it, I completed the Entry Level'
------
Three youths met at fork in the road. One girl and two boys. The girl had flowing blue hair, o e of the boys had curly blue hair, and the third boy had brown hair.
These were the three future stars of Elkwood, Aerith, Morgan, and Eden.
"It seems we all were able to complete the Entry Level."
Aerith and Morgan nodded.
"We all agree to meet in the academy competitions one year from now right?" stated Eden.
"You two better not slack! I'll be giving it my all" exclaimed Morgan.
"Me too!" Aerith followed up.
"Don't fall too far behind the great Eden!" Eden boldly said. "We're going to be rivals! but let's not forget where we've come from!"
"For Elkwood!" all three clasped their hands together. This was the start of their journeys.
The three sat there waiting for their academy representatives. They were chatting and joking with each other.
The representatives of Prontera and Tempest came to pick up Morgan and Aerith. Prontera had a spatial magician which would lead Morgan through a series of spatial gates until they reached the academy. Aerith was picked up by a representative riding on a blue colored horse with large golden wings that glistened beautifully in the sunlight. This horse was called a Tempest Horse.
The tempest horse lived near the mountains of Tempest Academy and was difficult to tame. Only a select few within the academy were able to tame one.
Eden was awed by these two schools and their wealth and strength. He sat at the crossroads waiting for another 4 hours until headmaster Oak arrived.
"Nice! you've succeeded the entry level! We'll go ahead and start your training immediately."
------
"Before we begin, I want to explain the role I want you to be able to fulfil within one year time."
"Our goal is to take one of the spots of the four kings. This year will be a difficult journey but I believe by the end of it you will gain an immense amount of strength and knowledge."
Eden listened intently. His headmaster wanted him to challenge the immovable kings! What ambition! No one has been able to make them move for the last 100 years! He praised his headmasters ambition. He was equally as ambitious.
"Before we get to our first destination, you must make 750 of these within 1 week."
Headmaster Oak took out a wooden figure of a dog.
