"Shift!" Torak commanded in a very firm voice. He even sounded very dangerous and savage.

He walked toward the black beast that was badly injured in his human form. His realization came just in time and his logic worked well to remind him that this creature before him was Aurora's mate, his daughter's soulmate and not his enemy.

Otherwise, very bad things would have happened while Torak didn't know how he would face Aurora later.

As it turned out, his daughter was still his top priority, even though he was almost completely overdriven by the monster inside him.
