Because of Raine's constant complaining about Torak invading her privacy ad the fact that she couldn't stop blushing every now and then, she kept demanding that Torak should teach her how to mask her own thoughts.
Despite being a little bit reluctant to teach Raine those things as Torak was still enjoying to hear his mate's thoughts about him, he still taught her.
It was a good thing for him too, because Torak didn't want anyone in his pack to be able to read Raine's mind since they would head toward the oriole city as per schedule.
Dozens of Lycanthropes under him were waiting for them there.
Along the way, Raine was so engrossed in remembering every detail that Torak had told her to hide her mind.
"Don't stress yourself, it will come naturally, no need to force it. You will get used to it." Torak smoothened Raine's wrinkled eyebrows with his thumb. Torak was worried that Raine would exert herself, her body was still recovering from the last event.
