Kapitel 45: Jake the Elder (part 3)
Jake felt himself teleport from the ship to different surroundings. Most people would have gotten scared at this moment or stunned, but Jakes's science-oriented mind instead decided to analyze the sensation of teleportation.
While most might be worried about where they teleported, Jake became curious about how he teleported. Was it a rip through the space-time continuum, was it the bending and breaking of space, or was it done by pulling him through some dimensional space first?
Jake realized that this was not the most important matter right now and decided to analyze his environment instead. Looking around him, he instantly knew he had been transported back to his world. Jake could see the planetary defense system still active around him.
Looking above him, Jake saw the shield surrounding the world shield still in tatters with there being a sizable hole driven into it. The broken shield still had strands of its shield's spindle-like remains floating off into space, creating a spectacular image on the ground.
Jake looked and saw that he was in a crater, and as he looked at its source, he saw the Parthian from before. Calvis's haunting beauty seemed frightening, especially now as there was a membrane made of light surrounding him. Calvis curled himself into a fetal position settled in mid-air.
As Jake continued to look at him, he heard a voice in his head.
"Hello, Jake. I'm Calvis's splinter thought. You have been chosen to become the elder of this Xuan homeworld and become part of the Pantheon Calivs will create for this Galaxy. Now to administer the test to see your worth." Calvis's authoritative voice chimed while most of his attention focused on comprehending the mysteries of chaos.
Jake disappeared from the Technoworld thrown into a forest more vibrant than any he could imagine and heard a roar in the distance.
Calvis, who was capable of multiple thought patterns at once, heard his distress. Calvis ignored it and became absorbed in deciphering what exactly he had learned from the Chaos dimension the strange matter sent him to.
