The day of the match arrives, and Louis has never felt more anti-social ever since he heard the words, ' Go make some new friends '.
' I made my word, and I'm going to keep it. Just suck it up and support them for the duration of the game. After that I can hide in the forest for the rest of the day. ' The mental encouragement does wonders to help Louis move his legs toward the field.
" I see you're wearing your robe today, Louie. " Richard states as Louis walks up to his cousins. " Not by choice, Bandit made me wear it cause I lost a bet with him. " Louis grumbles, grabbing Richard by the arm to drag him out of spite.
" Bandit's definitely gotten smarter compared to when you first got him. " Annie remarks, following the two of them close behind with their snacks in hand.
" With a owner like Louie? Not really a surprise, he rubs off on creatures in the most weirdest ways possible. " Richard says, jabbing a thumb with his free arm at Louis who is still dragging him.
" Right! Remember, that time he saw that lion at the zoo- " Annie starts excitedly, a grin on her face.
Richard following suit with a matching grin, " And how he managed to rub off on the lion just enough to make it trick the zoo keeper and escape! "
" That day was the best! " Both cousins simultaneously declare before breaking out into a fit of laughter.
" Haha, very funny. It's not my fault Simon wanted to leave the zoo and explore life outside, " The boy says grumpily. Stopping abruptly and dropping his hold on Richard's arm to take the drinks and snacks out of a hysterical Annie's hands.
" Simon freed the rest of the animals in the zoo, Louie. It caused a riot! How much more fun can you get out from that? " Richard retorts inbetween breaths for air before laughing even more.
Rolling his eyes, Louis decides to leave the his cousins to themselves, heading off to find a place for all of them to watch the match.
Once he finds a nice and comfortable area with the best view possible in the stands, Louis settles down and starts munching on his popcorn, patiently waiting for the match to begin.
Three minutes into the game and Richard and Annie finally arrive, though it's evident from their puffy eyes that they were no doubt crying from all their laughing.
' Evil cousins, ' Louis grumpily remarks in his head. ' We heard that, ' They say in perfect synchrony.
Watching the players on the quidditch field, Louis catches sight of a whisper of familiar pale blond hair, " Is that Draco? " He questions, unsure.
" Oh, he didn't he you? He joined the quidditch team this year. " Annie says, taking a bite out of the popcorn that she'd taken back from Louis. Richard nods his head in agreement.
" How come he didn't tell me about it? " The young Princeton asks sadly, realizing he was the only one out of the loop. Richard places a hand on Louis' shoulder in a comforting way.
" It was for you own good. He didn't want to give you more stress apart from your own. Who knows what you might've done if you did know about it. " A small frown appears as Louis thinks about it.
Still comforting Louis, Richard passes the gloomy boy his cup of soft drink to slurp on as Louis contemplates his life.

" What's wrong this time? " Annie grumbles out, nudging Richard who's been reading an advanced potions book hunched in on himself. " What? " He asks startled, looking up from his book.
" Something's going on again. Take a look, " She says, switching seats with Richard so the boy can get a better view of the field.
Harry is being chased by the bludger that's acting possessed. The thing looking as if it won't be stopping anytime soon until it achieves it goal.
" Oh, how peculiar. From the looks of it, it's being controlled by quite a strong force of magic. " Richard deduces, slurping on his smoothie as he watches the bludger stubbornly chase Harry.
" Doesn't this give you a sense of deja vu? " Annie says, rubbing her head as she goes deep in thought. " Last year? His broom? The match that was a whole disaster in and of itself? " Louis says in an attempt to jog Annie's memory.
" You're right! Oh, wow. He's just a magnet for trouble isn't he? " She concludes, both boys nodding their heads in agreement.
" Rogue bludger aside, I must say that Draco's taunts are very on point today. " Annie remarks, a devilish grin appearing on her face when Draco manages to get on one of the Gryffindor members nerves with his taunting.
" You are most certainly right on that, Ann. " Louis says, breaking out into a evil cackle when Draco throws them a grin.
Richard on the other hand, has taken out a notebook and begun gathering as much blackmail materials as he physically can. Whom the material is on though, shall remain a mystery.

" Oof! That's gotta hurt. " Louis flinches the moment the bludger makes contact with Harry's arm, a resounding ' Crack! ' Being heard throughout the field.
Everyone winces at the very painful sound. It's a wonder how Harry can still stay on his broom.
When Harry's back on the ground (lying on the grass like a corpse) signalling the end of the match and Gryffindor's win, most- if not all the Gryffindor students rush down onto the pitch to check on him with worry.
Louis is dragged along against his will by Annie with Richard close behind. He does manage to bring his snacks along, so there's that.
" Are you okay? " Hermoine asks, her words filled with concern as she kneels beside Harry for a better look, Ron standing close behind.
" N-no, I think my arm's broken. " Harry says as he moves from his vulnerable position to sit up and support the broken arm.
The Slytherin students, though slower than the Gryffindor students, have now crowded around as well. Draco managing to make his to stand beside Louis to watch the display with judging eyes.
" Not to worry Harry, I will fix that arm of yours straight away. " Lockhart confidently declares as he too kneels on the other side of Harry. The three Princeton's shoot him skeptical looks.
" Fix things up with the Cornish pixies then. They're still holding a grudge against you for putting them in a cage. " Louis states, earning some snickers from both Slytherin and Gryffindor students.
" No. Not you. " Immediate rejection was the Harry's answer while he tries his best to move as far away as he can from the narcissistic man.
" Nice rejection. " Louis says, taking a bite of a handful of popcorn. The words earn a few giggles from the students here and there, while others poorly attempt to hide their laughter.
" Boy he doesn't know what he's saying! " Lockhart worriedly informs Hermoine, blatantly ignoring the rest of the students growing laughter as he moves his hands to support Harry's broken arm.
" I highly doubt that, " Louis retorts subconsciously, taking a sip of his soft drink, this time making more students break into unconcealed laughter.
Ignoring the crowd of laughing students, Lockhart goes on. " Now this, " Harry grunts at the pain at the rough handling. " Won't hurt a bit. " Lockhart's free hand goes into his robe and pulls out his wand, ready to cast a spell.
" Excuse me, " Louis says, making his way through the crowd before Lockhart can cast his spell.
" And stop right there. " Louis has a hand on his hips, head slightly tilted to the side as he sends a highly judgemental look to Lockhart.
Annie, Draco, and Richard are on either sides of Louis where he stands; in the middle of the crowd.
The laughter dies down, the students silently watch the scene go on with curious eyes.
" Can't you see, I'm trying to fix Harry's broken arm? " Lockhart says as he gestures to the very relieved boy on the ground. " Then let me ask, what spell were you going to use? " Louis questions. Caramel eyes narrow with poorly concealed skepticism.
" Brachium emendo! " The man says full of confidence. " How funny. No. " Louis says flatly. (A Slytherin student snorts at the look Lockhart shows) His gradient hair moves as he looks to Richard, his eyes telling the cousin everything he needs to know.
" Could you two bring him to madam Pomfrey before things get even more out of hand? " Richard asks, to which Ron and Hermoine nod to and hurriedly bring Harry to the hospital wing.
The rest of the students silently make a path for them to go through. The man-made path disappears as the students continue to look on at the riveting scene, holding their breaths in anticipation.
Lockhart stands up dramatically, his robe flopping behind him. " Why would you do that when I could've healed him perfectly! "
" First of all, you pronounced the spell wrongly. If I didn't stop you, something horrible was bound to happen. "
Louis points out making the students nearest to the two break into hysterical laughter at the revelation, some stare wide eyed in slight horror at the thought of Harry Potter having an even more painful injury.
" Secondly, I don't think you even have the right qualifications to heal severely broken bones by yourself. " A look of slight horror passes through Lockhart's face before it quickly leaves.
( " Qualification? " Draco repeats softly. He looks to the two for an answer.
" It's a thing the ministry came up with when Aunt Nat healed someone who was on the verge of death. The hospital staff went ballistic when they found out: Said she wasn't in the right and all that. "
" You're family is on a whole different spectrum, I'll give you that. "
" Why, thank you. We always try our best to be as annoying for the ministry as we can. " Annie smiles brightly with pride.
" Not what I meant when I said that, but okay. " Draco smiles back. The students behind them collectively take one step back.)
" That's ridiculous! I have mentioned in my published books that I can cast spells perfectly without the aid of another, and am perfectly capable of healing another wizard with a broken bone! "
It was clear as day that no one was really buying his words, excluding the few devoted fans who hang onto his every word, the disaster of his classes had already spread far and wide in the school halls.
It has gotten to the point where Ravenclaw students have started to doubt if the man really is fit to be a teacher.
" Really? " Louis asks with a raise of his brow. " Yes, really. Have you got a problem with it? " Lockhart either bravely - or stupidly - challenges the young Princeton.
Caramel eyes light ablaze, as the hand on Louis' hips moves and joins the other hand to fold across his chest.
" Then you won't mind me breaking a few of your bones so you can demonstrate your greatness by healing them yourself since you're so magnificent? " He exaggerates 'so' in a taunting manner.
" He can't be serious, is he? " Draco overhears the hushed whispers from behind.
" He doesn't look like he's faking it. "
" Do you think he'll get in trouble If it really goes down? What's with that constipated look? "
" Doesn't he looks familiar? " A new voice asks. " Familiar? How so? "
" Don't give me that look. " The third voice says, a soft whack follows along with a strangled whine. " Sorry, you just looked like you have a crush on him. "
" It is not a crush! " No further conversation was had as they students around them hushed them.
" We might need to drag Louis to the side so he can clear his system of all that sugar. " Richard states worriedly, his lips tugging into a small smile at the pale face if Lockhart.
" Got it. " Draco says " Go on, Annie. It's your turn now. " Richard says. Casually nudging her toward the two in front.
" Thanks for the support, I can really feel it. " She says with sarcasm, confidently walking up to Louis and placing a hand on his shoulder.
" Huh? " The young boy says as he slowly, but menacingly turns his head to Annie. Lockhart just stands there, sweating buckets from all the evil seeping out of the boy.
Annie simply ignores the look Louis shoots her, rolling her eyes as she points at the school with a thumb. " Come on Louie, he's not worth your energy. There's a stash of Jello waiting for you in the great hall. "
The bribery of Jello is very effective. Louis immediately behaves like his normal self, dragging Annie by the arm towards the great hall, Completely forgetting about Lockhart.
" We should use that more often, " Draco says. The two boys watching the hurrying backs of the other two " Indeed. " Richard agrees, bitter at the fact that he didn't think of such a simple yet effective way sooner.
