"Watch your back..."
The demon queen Alice sashays around the dark halls of her lair which lies in the southern mountains of the Land of Dawn. Once green and teeming with different kinds of vegetation and lush forests, the mountain has now become a dark and desolate place after Alice had taken it for herself when she had emerged from the Abyss with her forces of darkness.
Not a single benevolent creature can be found within its forests since it is now teeming with abyssal demons, undead warriors and perhaps some Moon Elves that had been kidnapped from their homeland and brought to Alice for her enjoyment.
"Please, do not kill me! Have mercy!" A young moon elf woman pleads as she was brought before the evil demoness and her evil allies: Vexana the necromancer queen of a forgotten kingdom, Argus the fallen angel, and Moskov the spear of quiescence. They all pledged to serve Alice and use their powers to spread the darkness and evil throughout the Land of Dawn.
The demonic guards that held the young moon elf captive left her in front of Alice after the latter had made a gesture telling them to stop dragging her. Without further ado, Alice approached the moon elf girl and began sucking the life force out of her.
A silent scream was the only thing the elf can do as she gradually became weak until her body became cold, lifeless, and paler than the brightest moon.
"I'd prefer her soul going to my blade..." Argus murmurs as he and the other demonic allies watched their master mercilessly drain life out of the moon elf.
"Are there more?" Alice couldn't get enough of the sweet, life-giving blood of moon elves since they are her favorite. In fact, she once invaded their land, only to be defeated by Estes, the king of the moon elves.
"I am sorry, she is all I've got." One of the abyssal warriors replied.
"Get more young moon elves for me will you? Come to the Lake of the Moon God during the dead of night and bring me those elves as much as you can." Alice said, her thin fingers gracefully dancing as a blood orb emanates from her palm.
"Of course." The abyssal warrior immediately sets out for the said destination, refusing to disobey the orders of the Blood Queen. Alice meanwhile, faces her allies and begins giving out instructions on how to bring the doom the Lord of the Abyss desires upon the Land of Dawn.
"Vexana, how are your undead legions?" She questioned the necromancer queen who once ruled a prosperous kingdom in the Land of Dawn, only to be forgotten and corrupted after Alice had seduced her husband, the king whose name has been struck off the annals of history.
"They are doing well... I've managed to resurrect several legionnaires to join you in battle, as well as my once dearest knight Leomord." Vexana gave off an eerie cackle as she shows Alice the legions of undead soldiers who are ready to fight in her name. Leomord can be seen mounted on his horse Barbiel while brandishing his dreadful sword, the Oath Keeper.
"That is wonderful..." Alice smiled as she observed the men. Leomord however, felt the bitter pangs of despair since he had no choice but to become a pawn of Vexana's necromancy in order to protect the undead soldiers, who were once his fellow knights and kinsmen who had fallen into Vexana's foul magic.
He dislikes seeing them fall in battle so he decided to join Alice's cause while fighting in the name of his queen. Dismounting Barbiel, Leomord approaches the demon queen, telling her of a dangerous foe who had defeated Vexana once.
"Alice... there is one person you should worry about. You must beware of Tigreal, a warrior of light who had once decimated an entire legion of undead."
"Ah yes, that callous knight stormed the Fortress of Despair and gave me a humiliating defeat." Vexana affirmed the truth of Leomord's warning.
Even though she had just heard this tale about a knight devoted to the Lord of Light, Alice never displayed any expression of fear nor dread while she felt them from within. Not wanting to appear as a coward in front of her allies whom she had corrupted, Alice nevertheless thought of a plan to eradicate Tigreal.
"Moskov, I want you along with a few of my abyssal demons to lurk in the shadows and spy on Tigreal. I wish to know what he is up to. Do not kill him." Moskov nodded after hearing these orders from the demon queen.
He and the abyssal spies immediately began to search for Tigreal since the former is a proud servant of the abyss. Leomord helped them by giving them a piece of vital information about Tigreal.
"He resides in the Moniyan capital. Try searching in the Priory of Light but make sure you won't get caught, lest you disappoint the demon queen." Moskov heeded Leomord's advice and goes to the said location.
In order to hide his corrupted facade, Moskov and the abyssal demons wore sets of Moniyan knight armor which they had just taken from the dead knights who tried to defeat Alice but became prey to her life-draining magic.
