"Aren't you going to rest first?" Deo asked me question after question when I told him I'd want my flight back home as soon as possible.
"I need to go back. What will I do here?"
"Well, if that's what you wish…"
Before I knew it, I was aboard the plane back to the country.
Unsurprisingly, Deo greeted my arrival with a ton of paperwork towards his station.
I kind of pitied every secretary I've had. There were always a lot of workload within their hands. But somehow, I'm lucky to have Deo whom I trust with all matters in my affairs.
"Deo," I gave him a sideway smile, "I think you need to take some vacation leave."
His face was suddenly worried.
He must've thought I was firing him again.
"And come back afterwards of course," I pointed out.
He smiled.
"I'll think about it," he scratched the top of his forehead, "I have to finish this shi- sheets."
"I see…"
