He had a feeling that this hidden task along with that side quest wouldn't be finished today.  He and his family would go to Chengdu tomorrow.  After that, it would be the preliminaries for the Rookie Carnival.  So, if they weren't able to end this hidden task today, then they could only continue it after the prelims of the Rookie Carnival.  Which would be a week from now.
