With a commanding voice, Will chanted ancient words in a forgotten tongue, invoking the power of the All-Father. As the incantation reached its crescendo, a blinding flash of light exploded from the glyph, enveloping Will in its brilliance.
When the light subsided, the scene revealed a magnificent suit of armour, crafted with meticulous artistry. It gleamed with a polished sheen, adorned with intricate engravings depicting ancient Norse sagas and mythic creatures. The metal, a blend of shimmering silver and gleaming gold, exuded an aura of raw power and resilience.
The helmet, fashioned in the likeness of a majestic raven, perched atop Will's head. Its eyes glowed with a mesmerizing blue radiance, hinting at the omniscience of Odin, reminiscent of the war god's own visage.
The breastplate bore the emblem of Yggdrasil, the World Tree, its branches spreading across the armour like veins of wisdom. Embedded within the intricate design were glittering gemstones, each representing a different facet of Odin's might and wisdom.
Gleaming gauntlets, adorned with patterns of lightning, crackled with energy as if harnessing the raw power of storms. They held the potential to unleash devastating spells upon Will's adversaries. The greaves and boots were adorned with swirling patterns reminiscent of the crashing waves of the stormy seas, symbolizing the king of the Norse gods' dominion over the elements.
As Will stood there, encased in the resplendent armour, he exuded an aura of divine authority. The armour resonated with the dense, celestial energy, pulsating with an unmistakable aura of power and majesty. The very air around him seemed to vibrate with reverence as if the gods themselves bowed in acknowledgement of his presence.
The armour melded with Hela's Dominion, giving it an all-black colour. The designs were still visible as white pulsating lines that pulsated with each second. By the time the armour had finished forming, Will had reached his designated spot facing the Princess. They were both mages so any medium-length distance was appropriate.
Will's newly geared visage oozed killing intent and divine energy so dense it caused the air around him to haze, like a mirage in a desert. Except this was not formed by excessive heat, but by an overflowing aura of death.
Odin was a deity closely related to the dead and Hela was the ruler of the Norse afterlife. When two of Odin's Armaments came together with an upgraded fusion of Hela's Dominion and Frozen Asgard Mask, the superposition of the death and divine attributes gave rise to an overbearing aura that threatened to consume the entire stadium's attention.
Will was like an undefeatable god of war, there to reap the lives of the unfortunate souls that had dared cross his path. His posture was straight, his intent unwavering and his countenance calm. He was there to bring one thing and one thing only. Doom.
"Right now I represent that Geezer you so readily mocked. So come harlot, I will send you back to the brothel you crawled out from."
Will's words were like a cold slap to the face for the arrogant Princess. She frowned and looked at him like he was an enemy for life. A human who had taken her very being as nothing, something she could not stand.
"You think just because you dealt with a weakened Ulysses and a foolhardy Gianluigi that you are my equal?" she taunted after regaining her composure.
She had seen that seducing Will was impossible and pointless. She was not that familiar with the Frozen Asgard Arts, but she was familiar with Odin's Armaments.
Odin's Crown greatly boosted one's mental and soul-related abilities. In other words, in this state, Will was the very personification of the underworld, with death and divinity coalescing within him. Nothing she could do would sway him, at least not when he was primed and ready like this.
"Unlike the others, control is also my forte, let's see who has mightier gods, you or me."
With a voice that dripped with seductive power, she called upon her divine heritage, combining the blessings of Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty, with the formidable might of Photos, the beast king deity of the light element.
As the words of her summoning incantation resonated through the air, a radiant glow enveloped Mercedes, casting an ethereal luminescence that seemed to emanate from the depths of her very soul. Her eyes, a deep, mesmerizing hue of emerald, glowed with an intensity that mirrored the power she commanded. They held a wicked gleam, the anticipation of unveiling her trump card evident in her piercing gaze.
With a flourish of her slender fingers, Mercedes directed her magic towards the centre of the arena. A surge of celestial energy surged forth, swirling and coalescing into a magnificent spectacle of divine power. From the very fabric of her enchantment, a colossal phantom materialized, taking the form of Aphrodite herself.
The phantom of Aphrodite stood tall, her ethereal beauty unparalleled. Her figure, sculpted with timeless grace, radiated a sublime allure that captivated all who laid eyes upon her. Long, flowing tresses of golden light cascaded down her shoulders, shimmering with an inner luminosity that outshone the stars.
Her eyes, sparkling with an otherworldly warmth, held within them the depths of love's eternal mysteries. Draped in an ethereal gown of diaphanous fabric, the phantom Aphrodite exuded an intoxicating sensuality. The fabric clung to her every curve, accentuating the perfection of her form while leaving just enough to the imagination. Pearlescent hues danced across the fabric as if the very essence of desire had been woven into its threads.
As the phantom of Aphrodite moved, a fragrant aura filled the arena, a head blend of sweet roses and exotic blooms. It was as if the essence of love itself permeated the air, ensnaring the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to witness the divine spectacle.
Soft whispers of enchantment echoed from her lips, carrying promises of untold passion and unbridled ecstasy. Mercedes, a triumphant smile playing upon her lips, basked in the adulation of the crowd as the giant phantom of Aphrodite towered beside her. The phantom was a testament to her allure, demonstrating her ability to command the essence of love and beauty.
The light element-infused divine energy in the stadium directly clashed with Will's death-infused dark divine energy. Their intangible intents clashed and created a violent storm of mental energy that caused the other elemental attributes and their surroundings to lose shape.
"Haha, excellent, the All-Father and Hela vs Aphrodite and Photos, this is a fitting show for a finale, would you not agree ladies and gentlemen?"
Hercules' giant figure materialized above the flashpoint of energies. He was completely unperturbed as the two pushed themselves to the limit.
The princess did not have any intentions of holding back, as a staff of light materialized in her arms. It was incredibly beautiful, ornamented by gorgeously crafted jewels. The staff was clearly of a standard that approached Gungnir, as it immediately upset the balance of energies as soon as it arrived.
'She is already using Aphrodite's Longing! It seems the lass is really getting serious.' Said the hooded figure as he frowned.
With a slam of her staff, she released a wave of mental energy that solicited a reaction from Aphrodite.
The phantom above her body sighed in melancholy. It had an expression of deep and pained longing. It was looking at Will, but it seemed to be looking through him, gazing at something far away, not even interested in anything he had to offer.
Will responded in kind by making a summoning his own. Will used his staff and slammed it into the ground, creating a summoning matrix on the ground. A matrix most of the observers had seen earlier.
"Roar!'
A familiar creature appeared in front of the crowd once more. The large purple dragon Will had summoned before made an appearance in front of the crowd once again. But this time, something was different.
