They walked on a long marbled track, entering the reception area. Jacob was walking half heartedly, whereas, this place was a second home for Isa.
"Isa! Do you realise, not everybody has interest in coming to a library. Not everybody is as studious as you are!" Though, he did not know much about Isa, it was clear from her face, that library was her happy world!
"How did you know, I am studious?" Isa halted and looked at the boy in amazement.
"Isn't it pretty evident?" Jacob raised his one eye-brow at the girl.
"Ohk! Come!" Isa held his hand more firmly, pulling him towards the reception.
The large reception's walls were full of framed quotations from different authors. In one corner, was placed a table and an antique chair. An elderly lady, stamping certain books was sitting on the chair.
"She reminds me of Goblins in Gringotts Wizarding Bank, in the Harry Potter movie!" Jacob whispered in the girl's ear, looking at the lady.
"Shhhhh!" Isa signaled him to be quiet and tugged his hand towards the reception.
"Hello Mrs Barter! I would like to mark my attendence!" Isa smiled and looked at the old lady.
The old lady's face was extremely wrinkled and her complete grey hair were tied in a neat bun. She looked up towards Isa, adjusting her glasses. "Oh! Isa! It's you!"
"Yes Mrs. Barter! How have you been?"
"Very well my dear! Thank you." The old lady took out a register from the drawer and opened it. "Fill here."
"I have a guest with me today. I shall fill his details too!" Isa, filled up her identification number and other details, along with Jacob's details too.
The old lady adjusted het glasses again, to look at Jacob.
"Hello Mam!" Jacob greeted the lady, polietly.
"Isa, is this young man your boy- friend?" She pointed at Isa's hand which was tightly holding Jacob's hand.
