Kapitel 23: s2 ch1
I feel something change in my very being it feels like a chunk of me has been stolen ever since that day of his death. I have learned so much since then. Vampires were one of the higher beings the closest to demons and gods. Humans were created after a vampire not wanting to have to drink blood. After 200 years of starvation the vampire tried blood once more but it never helped so she ate meat from animals and berries from plants. She was lonely and a outcast of vampires. She was one day captured by a ape that went through much and became a demigod. While being with the ape she felt something she never felt before and she decided to have children with the demigod. The children looked like the everyday humans that are seen today.
After hundreds of thousands of years. Man was the ruler of the world and vampires were forgotten even the ancients undead race died out. The last of the ancients gathered together and took their power out of their bodies and created a way for humans, vampires, and the undead to survive. They gathered and stole technology from others around the universe and deformed it then gave it to the average day humans. This is how the technological boom happened near the 2000's. Those who have already been cultivating also received this system and became the top of the world. But when those gifted tried to lash out to the new world something stopped them. It was revealed that the old and powerful could not attack modern society. Only those born in the era could actually break that rule. This was set in place so the old ways would not be set in motion once again. If the old ways were completed once again vampires would rule as false gods while humans would be livestock and the undead would be slaves.
The man i have been carrying was once alive and well he wasn't human but he deserves to live no matter how evil he could seem. From the moment he died I just knew that I must complete the slaughter bone resurrection spell. The priest class had it's perks but compared to the subclass of fallen priest is so much more powerful but has to do things for the ancients of the fallen land. These tasks are met with gifts though. The 17th gift I got was the slaughter bone blade. I knew what it's power could bring. It is said once somebody kills one hundred people that are three ranks above the targets rank. The bone then can be swapped with the targets arm and bring them back. This is the bare minimum though and to right the wrongs of his killer I pledged to kill people 5 ranks above his rank. Meaning I need to kill people between level 50 to level 59. This was a difficult task since i'm was only a level 43 at the time.
???-"Hey ice queen it's time to move on"
I looted the last person of the killing spree and have finally collected the 100 lives needed. Now I must venture to the other side to bring him back but I dont have the resources to do it yet. We travel 3 days up a mountain. Once we reach the peak we must gather the herb called the mountain soul. I decide to grab the flower but only after securing the area. I push the flower down and begin to insert my soul into the infinite realm. It is a beautiful landscape. Every direction i look I see something that couldn't be see anywhere else. I look at my feet and see that i'm floating above a vortex. Slowly a stone hand grasps the edge of the vortex and claws its way out revealing a large stone golem.
Golem-"Why do you disturb my sleep?"
Woman-"I have come many miles from another continent to come to you to ask if you would give me your soul for the slaughter bone spell."
The golem begins to open it mouth but before he lets out a word I leave the infinite realm and rip the flower from the ground.
Woman-"Andrew RUN!"
Andrew grabs my waist and starts sprinting down the mountain with a large wooden with engravings made from gold. The mountain begins to collapse behind us. Andrew reaches the bottom and keeps running with me in his grasp never letting go. We go to a campsite we set up before our climb. We walk into the log cabin with a stone formation in the center on the floor. We rest through the night and wake up. Andrew decides he should make the trip to the land of souls and bring him back since he is the killer of the man. I agree since it would be a good way for him to explain why he killed the man.
