Kapitel 89: Dirty Business

Ren Shiyuan was watching his wife enjoy the ice cream that he bought for her. They were currently sitting on the sand with the sea view in front of them.

While they were enjoying that quiet moment, Ren Shiyuan's phone rang.

He took his phone out and looked at the caller ID, his eyes darkened upon seeing the unknown number.

"Who is it?" Nian Jiezhen asked as she looked at him.

"My manager." He lied. "Let me answer this real quick."

He stood up and walked a few feet away from her, enough so that she won't be able to hear his conversation.

He answered the call, "Father."

"I'm surprised. You actually married a woman who worked for the government." Ren Yuansheng's deep voice was heard on the other line.

"How can you handle the mafia with you having that kind of wife? Will she turn a blind eye to our crimes?"

"I haven't committed any crime."
