Kapitel 26: Mixed Feelings
Ayumi ignores Yuuto and walks past by him. Mae holds Sanyu's hands as she tries to teach him sign language correctly. Yuuto follows Ayumi, "Hey wait up for me." She continues walking and doesn't speak a word to Yuuto. "Hey Delinquent! The hell did you do to Ayumi?!" Kaya comes running to Yuuto.
His eyes widens as he sees Kaya running towards him. She jumps on him and pulls his hair, "Tell me what did you do to Ayumi!! I'll kill you!!" He yelps, "What the hell?!!! Leave me alone I didn't do anything to her you freaking annoying brat!" She let's go of Yuuto, "Then what happened to her? Why's she sulking?!" He glances over at Sanyu and Mae for a short second.
Kaya's eyes follows his little glance and sees Sanyu. She goes over to him, "Pretty Boy we gotta go! Sorry model like girl, but I have to take Sanyu for now. It's a important matter and only he can fix it!" Sanyu looks up at Kaya, "Wait, what?" She drags him away. Mae watches them leave,then puts her head down on the table bench. Yuuto follows after Kaya and Sanyu.
Ayumi sits down in her desk and takes out a book to read. She needed to calm herself down, especially that little weak heart of hers. 'Why's he always with Mae nowadays...' She thinks to herself. She becomes extremely jealous, "I shouldn't act like this.. it's only a one sided love for me. I have no rights to pull him away from the person he likes."
Kaya enters the classroom with Sanyu and Yuuto. She walks over to Ayumi, "What's wrong?" The sight of Sanyu didn't make her talk, she only shook her head then lied down on her desk. Yuuto looks at Sanyu, "Probably HIS fault." Sanyu turns around and looks at Yuuto, "How is it mine? I didn't do anything." He smirks, "So then I can take my job back right? Sanyu immediately answers back, "No." "Its none of your guys fault," she tells them.
"Boys! Quit treating her as if she's an object to take care of or something! She's human! HUMAN! She has feelings too alright?!" Kaya yells at the two boys. Yuuto takes Ayumi away and out the classroom. She is surprised by the sudden grabbing. "Yuu-" Ayumi couldn't finish saying his name. Sanyu stays behind with Kaya, he looks away, with a slight pained feeling. She looks at him, "I meant to tell you, but you've been acting really strange lately. Especially around Ayumi."
He looks back at Kaya, "What?" "Kind of.. as if you like her or something. Because every time she's with Yuuto, you seem really jealous or something," she tells him. His face blushes a bit and he lays his head down to hide it, "Am I?" She starts to smile big, "Aawwwe you like her don't you?" 'Im not clear with myself. Do I like her? I don't know.' He tells himself.
Yuuto holds Ayumi's hands, "If you're hurt, please let me know. I can't handle seeing you like this, all sad and down. I like seeing you happy and bright. I want to help you out and care for you." For some reason, Yuuto's words kind of touched her heart a bit. She looks up at Yuuto, "Thanks for always being concern about me... however.. I think I can handle my feelings myself.."
He can still feel the slight sadness within her, "You can't. I know. In the end, you'll only end up more hurt." She knows it's true but she doesn't want to admit it, "I'll be fine. Don't worry about me too much. You'll only end up wasting your time on someone like me." Seriously, he speaks, "I won't be wasting my time on you. You're worth a lot.. you mean a lot to me.."
"Tell me! You like Ayumi right? I'll keep this a secret from her and everyone else!" Kaya laughs at Sanyu. He still tries to hide away from Kaya, "I don't know..." She looks at him, "I think you two will be such a cute couple, honestly. She's going to have her first love." He lifts his head up, "First..love..?" It reminds him of his first love back in middle school, 'Let's break up. It's embarrassing to be with you!'
Suddenly he becomes down, "Oh." Kaya pats his shoulder, "You good?" He fakes a smile, "Yeah, I'm good." She laughs, "This is really impossible to believe. That you like Ayumi." He nods his head then lays down on the desk. She thinks for awhile then speaks, "Isn't Yuuto taking Ayumi away for too long now?" Sanyu shrugs his shoulder. Kaya grabs Sanyu, "Lets go! It's too suspicious! That Delinquent could be strangling her to death right now! I should kill him!" She drags Sanyu out the classroom and into the halls with her.
Yuuto looks at Ayumi, who had her head down looking sad. 'I want to comfort her..' he says in his mind. Kaya and Sanyu runs around everywhere, searching for Ayumi and Yuuto. Slowly, he pulls Ayumi closer to him. She doesn't resist him, she cannot control her feelings and was not aware of what was happening. Be sad or happy? Angry or calm? She doesn't know anymore, her mind has gone blank.
Yuuto hugs Ayumi. Her eyes widens as he hugs her tightly, "What are you..doing.." And at that same moment, Kaya and Sanyu arrives, they see Yuuto hugging Ayumi. She looks over at the two who came by. Kaya's eyes widens, "What are you doing to Ayumi?! Don't strangle her!!" She runs to attack Yuuto. Sanyu turns away and walks off. 'Does she like Yuuto? Do I have no chance?' He asks himself as he walks back.
Kaya smacks Yuuto nonstop, "I'm! Going! To! Kill! You! Delinquent!" He rolls onto the floor faking to be aching in pain, "AHH~! Why are you hitting me?! That freaking hurts!" Ayumi looks at them, she notices Sanyu has gone. Kaya throws another fist at Yuuto, "I really hate you." "Geez calm the hell down! I was only comforting Ayumi! Do I have no right to do that?!" Yuuto irritatedly yells at Kaya.
She doesn't flinch a bit, "That's right. You have no right to comfort Ayumi. Only I can." Ayumi looks at the two, "Aren't you two being too overly dramatic about me..? I'm fine." She only has mixed feelings about Sanyu.
Mae sees Sanyu walking alone, she walks up to him. "Are you okay? You seem really sad." He looks at her, "What if I said I was? Would you comfort me?" She nods her head, "Of course! People should comfort others when they are sad! So therefore, I would absolutely comfort you!" 'But the person whom I want to comfort me only..is Ayumi.' He tells himself. "Thanks for telling me that, I feel much better. I'll see you tomorrow," he smiles then continues walking. Mae turns around and sees Ayumi, suddenly, she feels disgusted.
Sanyu feels somewhat afraid. If he tries to love Ayumi, will she leave him like how his ex did? That kind of pain, left him a huge permanent scar. Every time he tries to like Ayumi, it rubs his wounds salt. Slowly, over time, he begins to gain mixed feelings about her as well.
