Kapitel 8: SS.01 Chapter 7 (R18)

Anna was both beautiful and powerful, if David wouldn't take this chance to take her as his wife, she might get snatched as there would be a lot of men who would fall head over heels for her.
Now that everyone was going to the same destination, Anna didn't have any reason to move separately. She was also worried about Dave's safety and the promise she made to Dwayne to look for his brother.
"Fine! But I don't want to sit beside you, now, let me go!" Anna helplessly agreed, gritting her teeth while trying to struggle from David's embrace.
"How is that possible? Wife, it will be safer if we stay in one vehicle. There is enough space for the two idiots." David directly protested. How could he seduce his wife if they were separated?
He wouldn't give the two little idiots a chance to grab his wife's attention from him. His nephew, rather, his son is already fighting against him, so how could he let another take his opportunities?
Honestly, David wanted to beat this little brother of his, that includes his best friend who unexpectedly ran away from home less than two months ago.
Their parents did not authorize these two boys to go on a trip without a precise destination. They simply found out that these two came to visit his elder sister but it didn't take too long when they left again.
He didn't know where Anna met these two nor how she knew that one of them was his little brother. Still, David felt indebted to his wife for saving his nephew and the two stupid boys.
If his nephew and the two boys did not meet Anna, David couldn't imagine what they could have ended up in the current world. This includes him and his team.
Without Anna, his team probably wouldn't be able to leave the mall, or maybe there would be a lot of casualties and wouldn't be able to arrive at his elder sister's house.
Worse, they could have all died in the mall after meeting a horde of zombies. He wouldn't have found his nephew who could have starved to death, while Daniel and Dwayne would probably die.
No matter the reason why Anna was able to meet and save them, David was deeply grateful to her. Perhaps they are meant for each other, or she was the final gift he would receive at the end of the world.
Anna was about to oppose when a lot of uneven footsteps rang in her ears. Her face instantly turned grave. She was very sure that those were from zombies, and there are plenty of them! Why would the undead constantly appear in factions?
David, who was about to kiss her, noticed the changes on her face. He has already guessed the reason. "Are there too many of them again?"
With a nod, David immediately instructed his subordinates to quickly pack up at a fast pace. He also asked Anna to keep the hummer while they would ride in the same vehicle. This time, Anna didn't even try to protest which only proves that they are in a dire situation.
"Everyone lined up immediately!" Anna suddenly instructed with a serious tone of voice, making everyone follow her wishes without a second thought.
Although David was their superior, they were saved by her, they would not hesitate to give their life if she wished to. But they also knew that Anna would never urge them to do something that could endanger their lives.
"Except for the two of you. Take Dave and go inside the car." She instructs the two before facing the line of soldiers while David stood next to her. "All of you take off your boots."
They turned stunned first, but without any questions, they followed, including David who was curious about what Anna was planning to do. They thought she would ask them to fight.
Anna turned to face David, with a stern expression, she lifted her hand and a blue light appeared in her fingers, pointing it on his feet, creating crystal army boots similar to hers.
David's body turned stiff. He suddenly felt a cooling sensation from his feet, quickly spreading towards his legs, waist, chest until it finally stopped below his eyes, it almost covered his face. He felt a cool and soft stretchable cloth, wrapping his whole body beneath his army uniform.
He couldn't help checking his hands that felt like being coated with a light blue suit which didn't hinder his movements. His eyes widened in disbelief, it was the same clothing that his nephew was wearing.
His eyes then softened. He initially didn't know what this clothing would do. But after noticing the two idiots were also wearing the same, and finding out it was made by Anna's ability, David had already guessed its purpose.
Looking at Anna who turned her attention to his subordinates, one by one, doing the same thing for them, David felt extremely grateful. He swore to treat her very well and would never let her leave his side. His eyes were radiating full of possessiveness.
Watching everyone fully equipped with protective clothing and crystal boots, Anna nodded in satisfaction. "Try to move and check if it hinders your movements. But these are stretchable. It would prevent you from being scratched by the zombies, but I am not sure how tough it could be."
"Don't let anyone know these are made by your sister-in-law," David immediately warned in a cold and serious voice, making Anna roll her eyes from being addressed in such a manner.
"Yes, Sir!" Everyone acknowledged with a salute.
They are not stupid. Even without David's reminder, they knew the solemnity of this situation. Just like in the mall, they would take everything in their grave.
Everyone moved quickly, riding their army vehicles, and started leaving the place at a fast speed. Bang! Bang! Bang! Numerous sounds of gunshots rang as they met some zombies on their way.
Even with David's protest, Anna let Dave seat in between them, lowering the car window, starting to flick her fingers to throw a shot towards the zombie's heads.
'Shit! What exactly is happening?! Why do they keep on following?!' Anna cursed in her mind. She didn't dare to tell the others about the zombie's unusual movements.
She had a bad feeling about this. That horde of zombies started to appear in the mall, including the time she met Daniel and Dwayne, presently they are even following them. "Have you encountered another horde of zombies in the past few days?"
"No, just in the mall. Why? Did you meet them again?" David focused his attention on his wife. She was frowning, making him have a bad feeling. He guesses something must be off about those zombies.
"No. I was just wondering why there are too many of them this time." She lied. Anna had a suspicion that this occurrence might have something to do with her.
Come to think of it, when she had been looking for resources, the zombies kept on popping out in groups no matter how she tried to avoid them. They began gathering as if they were being summoned. There is probably a leader among them.
Anna tried to recall what was stated in the book. If she wasn't mistaken, some of the first zombies finally started evolving in the second month of the Apocalypse. But she couldn't understand why they seemed to be coming after her.
What made her uneasy was once they had arrived at the South Base; If those zombies were truly after her, Anna was afraid that she had no choice but to leave. Otherwise, the base might be attacked by a horde of zombies.
"Wife, you are hiding something." David suddenly leaned closer, whispering to her ears, making his breath touch her neck. He could feel her anxiety and he didn't know why but it also made him feel nervous.
Anna froze in shock. But she instantly came back to her senses. With a glance at the soldiers sitting in front, biting her lips, she hesitates whether to speak and share her assumption.
"I noticed that there is something off about the zombies. I am afraid they are starting to evolve."
"What do you mean?" He turned serious.
"Mortals were also evolving. Just like you who gained an ability. The zombies might also gain the same powers." Anna could only tell them about the predicament, but not her suspicion.
Her words made everyone in the car turn dreadful. They were already struggling to survive when fighting against the zombies, but if they were to gain an ability, it would be more terrible.
There was a flash in David's eyes. Others might have noticed, but he didn't fail to catch her word. His suspicion about her identity deepened. He knew she was not an ordinary person, but he thought it was due to the Apocalypse.
David couldn't help thinking. Her looks, her abilities, preciseness, and the duration of using her superpowers without feeling exhausted were already above normal. But were these sufficient enough for her to call other people as mortals?
"I have noticed they keep on appearing in a group." She suddenly looked straight at David who was looking at her with his unfathomable gaze.
"Sis, you mean these zombies have a boss just like in the novels?" Daniel's face that was hidden in the protective clothing was relatively pale. He was trembling in fear.
"Yes. I can feel fluctuations from behind them. But I am not sure what ability they possess." Anna took a side glance at Daniel and Dwayne who were sitting behind.
There was a sudden silence that befell in the car. They stayed quiet in their whole journey until they reached another City.
"Boss, it's getting dark. We also run out of bullets. Are we going into the City to find a place to rest tonight?" The soldier who was driving asked.
With their bullets gone, they had no choice but to use their abilities, causing them to be physically and mentally exhausted.
Fortunately, Anna was powerful enough to freeze all of those zombies as they try to escape from those who keep on following them. Otherwise, they didn't know how many of them would have been dead.
"Go to the South junction of the City, three blocks away from the entrance," Anna said nonchalantly, making everyone look at her with awe.
The soldier didn't even wait for David to speak, using their infrared communicator to inform the other vehicles about their next destination. She had been notifying them the whole time which road was safer to drive as if she was a GPS.
When they found a building and got out of the car, David chose to keep their vehicles in his space as they had learned from their mistakes in the mall. It is also easier for them to move to any location.
With Anna's help, the zombies inside the building were immediately wiped out. She used her frost ability to block the door and windows on the ground floor.
After dinner, Anna instructed everyone to take a rest as she would take the whole night vigil. They declined first, yet she insisted. "All of you could rest to have enough strength to fight tomorrow."
"You also need to rest. You have been using your abilities throughout the day. I know you were exhausted." David conveyed to Anna what he had said to her before. She couldn't let even his subordinates know that her powers could last the entire time.
"Red could take the guard with me." Anna declared, making everyone confused, but they also had guessed that the cat wasn't an ordinary animal after it followed them.
Everyone also didn't dare to ask what she meant. They followed the orders. Even Dave had no choice but to follow Daniel into the bedroom.
Anna went into one of the bedrooms and took a shower. When she came out of the bathroom wearing a bathrobe, with no mask, while her eyes remained blue, she noticed Daniel sitting in bed, wearing a bathrobe and looking like he just finished taking a bath as well.
"Wife, we need to talk." David suddenly said, and Anna guessed it was about what they talked about in the car.
Without any concerns, Anna went straight to sit on the bed. Surprisingly, she wasn't nervous after deciding to tell David about her assumptions.
"After the whole period, you should have noticed I am not a normal person." Anna looked straight at him before revealing her purple eyes, making David's eyes shrank.
Anna didn't miss the changes in his eyes, but she had no idea what was running through his mind. "What would you do if those zombies were after me?"
"This won't be a good thing if I stay around you and the others. Particularly at the safe base." She added without waiting for a response.
She thought David would agree with her, but Anna didn't expect him to suddenly hold the back of her head, his other arm surrounding her waist, pulling her closer towards him.
His hot soft lips pressed hard towards hers, leaving Anna stunned. David started nibbling her lips, using the tip of his soft tongue to open her teeth, and instantly explored every inch of her mouth until he hooked her tongue and sucked it hard.
Her mind was blank as David continued kissing her deeply. He surrounded her arms on his neck when Anna didn't notice she started responding to his kisses, making him yearn for more.

Anna just took a shower and hasn't had time to even wear her underwear. Thus, without the bathrobe, her nude body was instantly exposed.
