Kapitel 17: CH. 17 Vice Admiral Ryu Part 1
Marineford. A place that was built as one of the placed in the world that uphold justices against all sort of evil from criminal to pirates. It was built magnificently like a huge wall of defense. Many people looks up to Marineford as it was know to be the Headquarter of Marines. However, the grand and magnificent place was about to turn into ruins.
"HAHAHAHA" laughed an old man as he was sitting on the floor. His clothes was filled with dirt and there are also wounds on his body. "You are a lot stronger than I thought, Brat!" shouted the old man as he looks at the man in front of him, who was wearing a chef costume.
"Me too. I never thought that you would still be breathing." said the man and dusted the dust away from his clothes. Hearing the man answered, the old man smile brightly and laughed out loud. "HAHAHAHAHA!"
The old man laughed out loudly and not caring about the damaged that was caused by the battle between them. The stone floor was destroy, many building was also demolished, and many boxes and woods scattered around the place. The once known beautiful port has reduced to a destroyed home as there was nothing except ruin.
After laughing, the old man looks at the man. "So, what are doing here?" asked the old man. The man handed the old man a document and pointed at the huge sign, which was written as {Marine Recruitment}. The old man nodded his head and suddenly he smile brightly as he thought of something.
"You are here to become a marine, right?" asked the old man and the man nodded his head. "GOOD!" said the old man and turned to look at a man who was wearing a brown suit. "Bogard!" called the old man.
"Yes, Garp-san!" answered the man in brown suit as he runs toward the old man. "I am taking this man here as he is a lot stronger than this recruits!" said the old man as he pointed at the man and Bogard nodded his head.
Hearing the conversation, the man followed the old man as they walks away from the port. Along the way, the old man turned to the man, "What your name again?" asked the old man. "Ryu" answered the man.
"Ryu? OH! Dragon!" Garp smiles brightly again as he remember that meaning of the name. As the two walks into Marineford and went up many stairs. They have finally arrived a huge office that was built in Japanese Style.
Without knocking, Garp slides the door opened and walks in. "Sengoku! I brought you someone strong!" shouted Garp and entered the room. However what welcome him was a shout. "GARP! WHERE WERE YOU!?" shouted a man as he glare at Garp.
Ryu, who followed Garp into the room, found it quite funny as the two old man starts shouting at each other. Knowing that it will take some time, before the two stop. Ryu walks toward the sofa and sits down as he wait for them to finished.
After a few minutes of waiting, the two finally stops fighting and scolding each other. Sengoku was tired and stops as he pushed Garp away and suddenly his sight landed on Ryu, who was sitting on the sofa waiting.
"Who are you?" asked Sengoku and look at Ryu, who was about to answered but was interrupt by Garp. "He is someone I recruited!" said Garp. Sengoku nodded his head, "Then, why are you bringing him here?" asked Sengoku.
"Well, you see. He is so strong and I want you to make him a Vice Admiral!" said Garp and sits down on the sofa with smile. "Vice Admiral!?" shouted Sengoku and threw a book at Garp and hits his head. "Garp are you serious?!" shouted Sengoku.
Rubbing his head, Garp looks at Sengoku with seriousness and Sengoku flinched. "Reason?" asked Sengoku and Garp smile smile as he took off his shirt and show that there was several cuts and injures which are still fresh as blood was still seeping out of it.
Sengoku stare at Garp, who nodded his head and pointed at Ryu, who was looking at the window. "He did it" said Garp and shocked Sengoku as he was Garp best friend and he knew how strong Garp body is. Even when the fights between Roger or Whitebeard. Both of them have a hard time to injure Garp, but now Ryu has injures Garp and shocked Sengoku.
Sengoku look at Ryu again and nodded his head at Garp, who smile and put on his shirt. "Hey, you!" called Sengoku at Ryu, who turned his head o look at him. "What?" asked Ryu. "I heard that you are strong and wanted a high position" said Sengoku and Ryu nodded his head. "Even though Garp has already recommended for you, but there still need to be some test." said Sengoku and release out his killing intent.
"Sure, so what test?" asked Ryu. Seeing that Ryu was not scared, Sengoku stop releasing his intent and called an officer into the room and whispered something to the officer, who nodded his head and runs out of the room.
Looking at the officer, who has just runs out of the room. Ryu knew that Sengoku was planning something. After a few minutes of waiting, Ryu sense that some groups of people are entering the room. He turned to look at the door as it slide open.
He was shocked as the people that entered the room was Sakazuki, Kizaru, Sephyr, Momonga, and Tsuru. Ryu turned and looks at Sengoku, who was now smiling at him and pointed at Sakazuki, Kizaru, Sephyr, and Momonga.
"They will be the one who battle you to see if you are fits to be a Vice Admiral" said Sengoku. Seeing that the four men was looking at him and releasing some pressure at him. Ryu released some of pressure causing them to flinched and smile at them. "When do we begins?".
