Kapitel 3: The first few builds

Azul explained to the little goblin as well his second about the plans. He told them that he will rebuild a small elven empire design to combat the scourge remnants and destroy the burning legion. The little goblin's eyes dropped at that. He assured that goblins are allowed however, it would most likely have a lot of Sindorei as well. The subraces of them. But as long as she was allied with him there would always be a home for her there.

Kalar was glad about his decision for joining. He doubled his efforts to convince the wretched that traveled with them. So far only five wretched had returned to there previous selves. Once they started to make the trek to the location Azul focused on understanding the timeline and what is going on. More than anything he knew he needed a Spymaster. Another thing added to his docket of needs.

Two twin sisters that use to be Paladins. Azul used a lot of his own holy energy to keep them within the light. The twins swore they will pay him back, but as far as staying, they hadn't decided yet. Oaths dictated they returned to report.

Another of the wretched turned back was a Rogue of sorts. The man was extremely depressed after regaining himself. He became an accursed wretched due to a bad potion that drained him of his abilities. With his mind disillusioned he was fair game to the maldictum of energy around the area. He refused Azul direct offer to join him but agreed to follow Kalar. In response, Azul only gave him enough energy to restore his mind and body to normal. Everything else he could reacquire on his own.

The last one, this individual that he could not tell the difference with as much as he wracked his brain was an enigma. Even as an elf the person didn't lean toward either male or female. The rags didn't help as well. With all the exposed skin that was shown was full of scars. From the information taken from both the priest and hunter, nothing could be derived except this wretched knew a lot of languages and followed all orders the moment they are given. Unless its immediate life was in danger. With just enough magic for the littlest of speech given to the individual, it followed behind diligently. The eyes looked from left to right constantly pointing out several pockets of magic along their treck.

Kalar and Disa had suggested West Sanctum to set up base. The dead scar was not too far away. Undead to fight for training and spirits for needs for magic. If they had the forces she believed Deatholme would have been perfect for Azul needs. But she was quite glad he decided against it. After fights against several mobs, they finally made it to West Sanctum. The entire landscape was destroyed the three mountains remained but the structure was destroyed with a few dead elves strung about.

"Kalar great for defending and setting up a base." He nodded at the elf." He then turned to the goblin. "Well, this will definitely work. Good job Disa Clockworkson." Azul looked outstretching his magic lifting the bodies of the fallen elves setting them behind the group gently. Reaching to his side he opened the tome. "Let us begin Ks."

The first few pages of the book dissolved turning into pure magical energy. The magic shot over absorbing the building into itself. Its foundation would be used as additional material for the process. The light spread out further and further as a silhouette of a castle showed. The shine of magic travelled up and down in the air pulling parts of the mountainscape into it. The castle was out of phase but was pulled into reality slowly. https://www.deviantart.com/snowskadi*

Azul looked visibly winded and tired. He smiled out in happiness he only some of the benefits for taking to long. He would have to think of a way to think the goblin again. The location turned out to be a great location. Trenches went out to the water creating multiple canals. Magic inscriptions brought water into the castle and cycled it to drinkable water. Before Azul could take a breather a beam of magic shot him in his chest linking him completely with the structure. His face grimaces in pain due to his new nerve endings but he did not scream. He felt much worse in hell. Information on schematics and building progression rate flowed through his mind.

Disa stepped back in horror. She could feel the magic energy that fired at him. It was the most intense power she ever felt in her life. Way more than what she felt in the ruins. Kalar stepped forward not knowing what to do. The dagger only told him everything would be fine. This did not stop his worry.

The twins gave each other a worried look. Grabbing each other's hand they prayed to the light for his safety. Both sisters sweated profusely as they felt the strong connection to the light as they prayed. It was different from the one they knew in training. It felt more raw but more understanding in a way. The rogue watched and waited. Everything in his body told him to run but he couldn't move. Seeing Kalar not charging in, he stood to the side as well once he regained control of himself.

The most unusual was the other turned elf. She walked closer to Azul but stopped when she felt Kalar's stare. Grinning to her self she cut her wrists with her own nails. The light touched down on her changing and healing her body. Renewed with new raw power she moaned basking in the light. She kneeled in service to the light itself but swore her soul to Azul. Crimson robes appeared on her body with the crest of the turquoise icon on the back. A headband appeared in her white hair, Mage gloves stretched up to her elbows with a small arcane jewel on the wrist. Her midriff was exposed as was the way with most battle mage attire. But then a black undershirt appears concealing all of her opened skin below her neck.

The multiple wretched had been bathed in various magical light. For those who refused to join the light scanned their memories and copied all of there abilities. Each of those who declined received a black tattoo on their wrists. Those who agreed to join, received a necklace that contained a small arcane jewel. As their body was healed to standard levels, their memories had been reconfigured as they had agreed upon with Ks. Lost limbs regenerated but would need time for rehabilitation.

The light died down. The castle was done. Azul floated down and took a deep breath exhaling pure arcane energy. His smile was forced to say the least. The prompt he received did not make him happy at all.

"Oh, bloody hell this will be hard!" Azul said to himself harshly. Taking a few steps he looked back at the rest. "Are you coming or not?" He reached his hand out lifting the goblin up. His voice echoed in the heads of the other elves who received the change from Ks. 37 personnel not bad. Well, citizens anyway. 'Maybe I should throw all the meat and whatnot we collected on the way.'

The ball that contained the dwarf adventure followed along behind. Kalar followed after shaking off the shock. He reached for his dagger when he saw the woman in the robes step forward in front of Azul.

"My, lord I am at your command. I went by the name.. Nocturne at one point... I lost my real name to... no does not matter. It happened long ago. You may call me what you wish." Nocturne stared at the ground not daring to lift her head. Whether it was in reverence or shame only she knew. She was plagued by the thought of not being accepted. More than anything she wanted a place to regain herself before the next attack.

Seeing Azul getting ready to speak Kalar spoke. "My lord she is twisted." Seeing Azul's raised eyebrow Kalar continue to speak. "She is a Battle Mage that failed from transferring from the path of Warlock. The process to break from the demon that warlock associated with.. are not to be taken lightly. Most likely she received backlash which resulted in her previous appearance. I would tread lightly myself." Stepping back, Kalar kept his eyes on her. His suspicion was well reserved. A battle mage happens to be a fierce opponent. One that used to be a warlock had more firepower up there sleeve than a normal one.

"Get up.. Nocturne. You are welcome here. If you need help breaking your link with the demons let me know we can do something about it when I have the chance." Azul stepped forward continuing to his new home. Placing the goblin down he looked at her with a smile. "Last chance to run away."

Crossing over into the threshold Disa watched as Azul and the dwarf bubble went ahead. Not wanting to get left behind she charged in as well. The twins glared at Nocturne's disappearing figure, they hesitated before backing away. With the gear they received from fighting the mobs along the way, the duo made for Fairbreeze village. After purchasing proper gear, they would head to Silvermoon next. On the way, both felt as if they missed out on something.

As everyone stepped through, the various arcane jewel they had on there persons received magical energy. Azul pointed to the right and reshaped the southeast area. He watched the 100 miscellaneous resources drop to zero. "Dammit." A new icon appeared alerting him 200 homes were now available. "That works I guess. Nocturne come here for a moment."

"Yes my lord."

Azul poked her in the forehead transferring the information on how to organize the 37 civilians as well as the 100 field workers as well as 20 city guards. Watching her blink twice he stopped once the recognition passed. The guard's job was to turn the civilians and field workers into militia level fighters. They would spend 2 hours training in a martial way. Afterward, they would spend 2 hours training in an arcane way. Another 2 hours would be spent on refining magical energy in the air. Once everyone was at an adequate level, they would hunt outside the West sanctum grounds clearing the area of any dangers.

Moving to Kalar, they talked about a pattern for the city guard to patrol. "Also the faster the people are trained up the faster I can build up the different energy springs."

"Energy springs?" Kalar asked in wonder.

"Yes. Think the well of eternity but smaller. Each spring will have a touch of holy energy for the different magical aspects. This will help keep demons away. If they drain the well by chance, it will result in their death. This is not to say that I will not allow Warlocks in our numbers. It will just be a lot more secure than the others." Looking around Azul noticed the rogue was not there as well. "So your friend the rogue left. Will he cause a problem?"

"I see." Kalar looked around just to make sure. "He should not cause any problems. If I had my way I would say no to the demons altogether. But they do have their uses. I will get started on the rounds at once." Kalar saluted and walked away. Heading to the sanctuary he rounded up the city guard giving them their first orders.

Looking to the middle of the grounds Azul cast a spell to start creating the springs from his own magic reserves. This process was slower but did not use up resources of the base. Last but not least he looked to the little Goblin ushering her to follow him with the dwarf ball.

Stopping at the major building in the south Azul turned to Disa. "Ok chief of engineering, I need your input on where to build a workshop for you. Do you want it in this area of the castle or would you rather have it closer to the ocean away from the grounds?"

"How big can I make it?" Disa started to pace while talking out loud. "I rather have a small lab for now. Considering I do not have any assistance right now," her head moved about as her eyes rolled around. She stopped her musings, "it will not matter."

"I will create you one then over here. You can build as big as you need later on. However, do keep in mind size and location. Most importantly danger level. I will come to you with inventions I need every now and then but do keep safe if I don't come around for a little. I know engineers tend to get lost in their work. I will be busy for the next few days." As Azul spoke to her, he was scrolling through the Ks for the different building options. His other hand cast the spell for her workshop. It used up 15 metal materials. Handing the spell over to Disa he explained all she need to do was set it down and it would expand as needed.

Stopping on the magical wood mill he made his choice. Getting to work he placed it outside the grounds to the north on Ks build map. Once this was made a grove of magical trees would sprout out to the north of the mill. Once that started Azul moved to the north main tower to actually sleep. It was a long night. With the several builds around the place draining his magic he needed to sleep.
