Kapitel 135: Chapter 131: Juniors VS Seniors(2)

"T-Three ten thousand year old soul rings?! What the fuck?!" The moment they saw Huo Yuhao's soul rings, excluding Ma Xiaotao, the rest of the Shrek Six Monsters exclaimed with dumbfounded expressions.

Ma Xiaotao inwardly cursed at herself, forgetting to mention some shocking information about Huo Yuhao. "Get a hold of yourselves and stick to the plan!" saying that, her phoenix wings flapped and she flew into the sky, leaving behind blazing ambers.

Her eyes quickly set on the girl with short blonde hair, a crystal-like tower appeared in her hand, glowing with cyan light. She narrowed her eyes when she noticed Huo Yuhao was guarding her.

'Ling Luochen and I can't fight against Yuhao. With his Ultimate Ice, he can easily suppress us both. Especially me, with that troublesome flame control skill he has I can only depend on my physical strength to fight him,' The thought went by her mind in an instant and she immediately turned her attention to the others, especially at Bei Bei and Xu Sanshi.

"Everyone, stick to the initial plan!" Ma Xiaotao shouted her command, causing her teammates to nod resolutely.

"Hm. Feel my blessings~" Gongyang Mo giggled, the rainbow-like feathered wings unfurled from his back, radiating off seven colored lights.

Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet. Those seven colours were pure and sparkled in the light. When he took flight, it was just as though a rainbow was hovering in the sky.

Rainbow Dragon, that was Gongyang Mo's martial soul. It is the strongest auxiliary-type spirit within the category of Beast Spirits; which is comparable to the Seven Treasures Glazed Pagoda which is the strongest auxiliary-type spirit within the Tool Spirits category. However, like the former, this Rainbow Dragon suffered a few limitations. Once the user achieves the Seven Colored Gamut, or the seven-ringed rank in other words, taking another step would be extremely difficult just like the Seven Treasures Glazed Pagoda.

Red, orange, yellow, green and blue lights enveloped Ma Xiaotao, Ling Luochen, Chen Zifeng and Yao Haoxuan respectively, enhancing their varying strengths and abilities.

With a flap of her wings that burned brightly due to being buffed and activating , Ma Xiaotao flew straight towards Tang Ya, Bei Bei and Xu Sanshi, clashing against them head on. Her teammates: followed close by before they separated to take care of the others.

"P-Please have mercy...!" Xu Sanshi pleaded as he brought out his Black Tortoise Shield, blocking her attack with difficulty, his body and shield radiated yellow and purple aura; activating his first and third soul rings skills respectively.

"No complaining!" Ma Xiaotao laughed, increasing her firepower not wanting to give Xu Sanshi any chance to relax. The fierce pressure from her fiery wings bore down on him relentlessly. His shield trembled under the onslaught, the yellow and purple glows flickering as he struggled to maintain his defense.

"How cruel!" Xu Sanshi cried, but inwardly he was smiling.

Bzzzt!

"Raaaa!" An enormous blue-lightning constructed dragon head exploded from Bei Bei's palm, crackling with energy as it charged towards Ma Xiaotao. The sheer force of the attack caused the air to tremble, and for a moment, it seemed as though the sky itself was illuminated by the brilliant blue lightning.

"Hm?!" Ma Xiaotao's eyes widened. "Impressive Bei Bei, no hesitation at all." She narrowed her eyes as she caught him making handseals, trying to add another attack.

"But you still have to do better than that!"

She grinned, her first soul ring lit up and she took a deep breath.

[1st Soul Skill: Phoenix Fireline]

A straight line of fiery burning flame emitted from her mouth and shot towards the incoming lightning dragon. The clash of elements was fierce, with flames and lightning intertwining in a dazzling display of power. The shockwave from their collision rippled through the air, forcing both combatants to brace themselves.

Ma Xiaotao versus Bei Bei and Xu Sanshi.

"Will you three be my opponents?" Chen Zifeng asked, eyeing Wang Dong'er, Xiao Xiao and Wu Feng as they encircled him. He looked at them with indifference and a hint of disdain in his eyes. Spreading his right hand five fingers, a crimson sword with a three-foot, six-inch-long blade that was only an inch wide appeared. The slender body of the sword had no guard on it, but there were three bloody grooves carved into it and five soul rings: 2 yellow, 2 purple and 1 black surrounded the sword rather than his own body.

"Unfortunate, I was hoping to spar with your leader. I hear that he carries a sword as well..."

"What's with this senior? Earlier, he showed a warm and kind smile like senior Bei Bei, but now he's acting so cold." Wang Dong'er muttered. She then glanced at the others and nodded. They have to either delay or take this guy down according to Huo Yuhao's plan.

Huo Yuhao's strength and cultivation had leaped so far beyond them that it was unbelievable. From rank 20 to more than rank 40 with ten thousand year old soul rings in just short of a year—a feat that seemed impossible and had left everyone in awe.

They didn't want to be left behind. Not just because they wanted to stand beside him at the top of the world, but also a sense of self-recognition! They were also geniuses, they have worked their way to this point with not just their "talent" but also with hard work.

So, their soul power surged out of their bodies as they started using their soul skills. Wang Dong'er flew high up at the sky, her butterfly wings carrying a sharp aura. Wu Feng's body underwent drastic changes, growing bigger and mature, dark-red scales covered her skin on all four of her limbs and a bit around her neck, sharp dragonic claws replaced her hands and fiery flames emanated from her as she charged forward.

Clenching her right claw, her first and second soul rings immediately glowed brightly yellow. A dense layer of flames had shot out from her body, covering everything within 30cm of her. Dragonfire and Dragonfury, one that shots off flames all around and the second that boosts her strength. She punched out at Chen Zifeng's face without any hesitation.

Clangk!

"It's no use," Chen Zifeng raised his sword, effortlessly blocking Wu Feng's attack. His eyes showed only indifference as he put more strength into his sword, preparing to finish her off. "You're too weak-?!"

He was soon interrupted, as three large black cauldrons flew towards him from his two sides and behind, leaving no room for escape, smashing onto his body with a resounding crash.

Xiao Xiao's Threelives Soulsealing Cauldron had activated her second soul skill, Cauldron's Sweep, trapping Chen Zifeng in a powerful bind. The cauldrons shimmered with a yellow hue, indicating the activation of her second soul ring.

"Hn," Chen Zifeng grunted, struggling against the weight and power of the cauldrons. "Impressive coordination," he muttered, his expression darkening as he attempted to free himself. His sword spirit glowed intensely, his 3rd soul ring began to shine, attempting to cut through the binding force.

"Now!" Wang Dong'er shouted from above. She dove down, her wings slicing through the air with lethal precision. Her butterfly wings shimmered with an ethereal light, and she activated both her first and third soul skills in quick coordination, Guillotine Wings and Butterfly Goddess Slash, creating an aura of sharp energy around her.

"Hmph!" Chen Zifeng's eyes turned colder and low yell he pushed back Wu Feng and, with a single motion, knocked away the three cauldrons. He moved to block Wang Dong'er's attack, but his eyes widened in shock as he felt shocking feeling in his mind and his body began to move sluggishly.

'What?!' He glanced towards Xiao Xiao to see her wielding a black flute.

'What's this? A spiritual attack? I thought that Huo Yuhao kid was the only one who could do it!' Chen Zifeng's thoughts raced as he realized Xiao Xiao's flute was affecting his mind and body. Despite the haze clouding his senses, he managed to lift his sword to block Wang Dong'er's incoming attack, but his movements were slower, less precise.

Wang Dong'er seized the opportunity, her butterfly wings shimmering with sharp energy. With a graceful but deadly motion, she executed her Butterfly Goddess Slash, aiming straight for Chen Zifeng's exposed side. Wu Feng also joined in the fray, as well as the three cauldrons.

The girls attacked Chen Zifeng on all sides, overwhelming him.

'You're just a bunch of juniors!' Chen Zifeng gritted his teeth, feeling embarrassed and frustrated, he stopped holding back; his fourth soul ring shone, with his strength, speed and the sharpness of his sword increased, he began harshly pushing them back.

On another side, Tang Ya, Jiang Nannan and He Caitou coldly stared at Yao Haoxuan with grave expressions as he charged at them without any hesitation.

He didn't look human. To be precise, he was using his martial soul. He turned into a 4 meter tall ape-like beast with metallic-grey tough skin, dark green eyes. 3 meter wide shoulders, and hammer-like fists. Like Chen Zifeng, he too had five optimal soul rings. His first, second and third soul skills shone, an auxiliary, control and defense type.

The effects were almost instant; Ma Xiaotao and Chen Zifeng were covered with a sharp aura, increasing their combat ability.

Then, a wave of dizziness struck almost everyone on Huo Yuhao's team, stunning them.

'It's over!' Yao Haoxuan smiled, charging at the trio, his third skill made him as durable as steel and power capable of smashing through a tripled layered, reinforced steel door; it's specific because he tried this out.

Just as he was about to smash right into them however, he went still. His eyes widened as he saw several thick, dark-blue vines burst out of the ground, and in an instant, started wrapping around him tightly.

"What?!"

Yao Haoxuan struggled against the constricting vines, their powerful grip immobilizing him despite his immense strength. The dark-blue vines were emitting a dark chilling aura, and to his horror, he could feel them sucking up his lifeforce!

And as if that wasn't enough, he felt an incredible pressure bearing down on him, causing his feet to sink into the ground. Looking up, he saw the bald-headed junior aiming a soul tool at him that radiated a powerful aura, while also smoking a cigar?!

"Oh hell no!" He cried out, unhesitatingly using his fifth soul ring. A black aura radiated around him, the vines wrapped around him began to disintegrate under the immense power of his fifth soul skill. The aura surrounding him intensified, and he roared with newfound strength, breaking free from the vines with a massive burst of energy.

"You think you can bind me so easily?!" Yao Haoxuan's voice boomed as he charged forward again, aiming directly at He Caitou, wanting to stop his soul tool. However, his path was suddenly obstructed by a web about 6-7 meters in diameter.

Yao Haoxuan was forced to halt his charge as he collided with the web, its sticky threads entangling him and devouring characteristic of the Dark Blue Silver Grass slowing his movements. He roared in frustration, his immense strength tearing through some of the threads, but more kept coming, wrapping around him from all directions.

"This isn't going to hold him for long!" Tang Ya shouted, her hands glowing as she controlled the web. "Jiang Nannan, He Caitou, we need to hit him hard now!"

Jiang Nannan and He Caitou nodded, the latter aiming his rank 5, modified, Godly Shotgun that Huo Yuhao taught him a few days ago. The former channeled more soul power into her soul skill, increasing the gravity on Yao Haoxuan.

Bang!

"Aaaaaahhh!"

The battle between seniors and juniors began, eliciting flashes of all bright colors from the arena.
