Fujimura Kasumi trembled underneath her flimsy nightgown, "What do you want with me?"
The voice didn't respond. Instead, the wind surrounding her whirled and whirled. Going faster and faster.
Shivers went down her spine, but she decided if she's going to fight, she's not going to be cowardly and run away. She's going to fight whatever is coming head on.
Kasumi clenches her fists and summons one of her gifts, wood. The house groans under her power and soon huge splinters of wood are ripped off the wall and surround Kasumi in a huge circle. The wood circles and circles around her, as she waits for her enemy to take their first hit.
The room was quiet now, except when Kasumi uses her gift to get more wood or when the wind howls from outside the window.
Kasumi is waiting, patient. She doesn't want her enemy to find any weaknesses on her and strike.
What she least expects is when she hears a cry. It was shrill, blood curdling, deafening sound that soundly almost exactly like her mother.

Nakada Ryota knew that Kasumi would be focusing on herself more than others, which gave him a good opportunity to get to Kokoro without having to fight Kasumi at the same time.
What Ryota didn't know was that Kokoro had NO gifts, not even a smitch. Kokoro had no way of defending herself, which let Ryota and Arata enjoy themselves as they punish her without her resisting.
At the moment, Ryota and Arata are tying Kokoro to a chair. She doesn't have a cloth around her mouth, nor eyes. They did this so Kokoro would feel even less safe and more scared if she knew no one was coming for her after she screamed. Also, Ryota was disguised and Kokoro didn't know Arata, so they didn't cover her so she can see the pain being inflicted upon her.
They were in the middle of the woods on the outskirts of the empire, on the border that their empire Bekya shared with Shoupia. No one lived for miles this deep in the woods, so no one would hear Kokoro.
The reason they got there so quickly was because they were fast, Kokoro was sleeping while they were carrying her, until they accidentally dropped her causing her to scream, and because Kasumi gave them a lot of time to escape as she prepared herself for a battle that never came.
Kokoro continued to scream, determined to get someone to notice her, "Help! These two lunatics are trying to kill an innocent woman! ME!!!"
Ryota grew annoyed with all the yelling so he slapped her, hard, against the face.
Kokoro was shocked. She didn't even let out a peep. The smack echoed throughout the empty forest, making it seem scarier for Kokoro.
She hated being in the wilderness. She hated the bugs, dirt, twigs, just all the uncleanliness. Kokoro liked the feel of her home, the richness, cleanness, smell. Out here, it was all these animals with their disgusting waste spilled everywhere.
After Kokoro recovered from her shock, she asked quietly, her voice feeling hoarse from all the screaming, "What do you want with me?"
Ryota chuckled, "Did you know, that your daughter asked the same questions when I was with her?"
Ryota smirked and played with his nails, scratching the dirt off from underneath his nails, "Like mother like daughter, it seems."
