Always striving for perfection is something that I would consider a flaw. There is a time and place for everything, so it's wise to learn when to not aim for perfection. It may even be a sign of some underlying mental condition such as high functioning anxiety.
If we say 1 hour of work equates to 70% results, 2 hours 90%, and 20 hours 100%, you should really consider if it's worth investing 20 hours just to obtain that "perfection." In the same amount of time, you could've completed multiple other projects to a very satisfactory degree of 90%.
