Kapitel 69: Chapter 69: Stand off

"See now what happens? I told you to wake me up early. How are we gonna find our way back in this god knows where forest?" Mark grumbled while breathing heavily. He and Ferdy are currently in the middle of a dense forest after their failed attempt to chase after Chiko who went home early.

They had been walking for over an hour now, and after a couple of turns with every crossroads, it didn't take them long to realize that the two have absolutely no idea where Chiko's house was.

It was still early in the morning but the sun failed to shine thoroughly to their spot because of the thick and tall trees surrounding them, making their surroundings darker as usual.

"Hey, you were so confident to chasing after Chiko so I thought you know where he lives. Not to mention, you were snoring too loud last night. How do you expect me to sleep right away? I didn't even get enough sleep until now and my body still aches from all those intense practice."
