Kapitel 19: Returning Home To Guenivere
(Luna's POV)
I woke up to find Jacob sleeping with Athena on his lap sleeping as well. I couldn't help but smile at them both. It was a really cute site to watch. I stared at them for a while. I got startled when Jacob with his eyes closed spoke. "Why don't you take a picture? It'll last longer". He opened his eyes and looked at me chuckling. I could feel the heat in my cheeks as I blushed slightly.
He chuckled even more at the sight of me blushing. When he stopped chuckling, he just stared at me and said "thank you". I was confused. "For what?" I asked. "For not terminating or giving away Athena and giving me a chance to be a dad." he replied while holding my hand. I smiled at him and said "You're welcome".
The flight attendant then interrupted our little moment again and told us the plane was landing. I woke up Athena and told her to look outside and she did. "Wow. Daddy, it's beautiful like you said". She said still looking outside. He chuckled and looked at me and said "Yes.So beautiful". His comment made me blush so much.
When we got off the plane, we saw Jacob's parents waiting. As we got closer, Jacob was about to introduce Athena to them, but Athena ran happily towards Jacob's mom and yelled "GRANDMA". His mom hugged her so tightly and Jacob had a confused look. I giggled in awkwardness and said "Oh that's another thing I didn't tell you. Your mom found me in Selena when she was there on business a couple of years back. She met Athena and she told me she would keep my secret and keep us safe. She also called and sent money as well".
He looked at his mom in disbelief and said "You knew this whole time". His mom nodded and said " Why do you think I told you to forget about it and to focus on being Alpha and CEO?It's because I knew they were okay". Jacob looked kind of angry and seeing this, I quickly put my hand on his cheek and turned him to face me and said "Hey. It's okay. As long as we are here now". He face soon calmed down and I realized that my hand was still on his face. I pulled my hand away form his cheek and turned away, slightly blushing.
Then I thought of something they said and I turned to Jacob. "Wait!?... CEO!?" I said in a questioning tone. "Yeah. I didn't tell you?" He asked and I shook my head. He chuckled a little see my reaction and said "Well yeah. I am now CEO of King Sights. My father finally wanted to retire and he passed the position to me." "Wow. You are really growing up now aren't you" I said as a joke and everybody began to laugh except for Jacob.He got annoyed for us laughing and walked away so fast. We all chased after him still laughing.
When we got outside there was two company cars waiting for us. Jacob's got into one and we got into the other. During the drive, Athena was just staring at the window in awe while I was just looking at everything and remembering all my memories here. However, Jacob was on his phone texting. Every once in awhile he would look up from his phone and look at us while smiling.
It took about thirty minutes to get to Jacob's house. When Athena saw the house, she got super excited. "Daddy it's as pretty as you said" she said smiling at Jacob. Jacob smiled back and said "If you like the house, just imagine how much you are going to like your bedroom". Hearing this, she got even more excited. Even though she was excited, I was confused. "Bedroom?" I asked. He nodded and replied "Yup.After leaving your apartment, even though I didn't know you were actually going to come, I called the staff to prepare for you guys coming just in case and that means she gets a bedroom." I nodded at his response and we finally arrived at the house.
