Kapitel 5: Awakened
(Luna's POV)
2 Weeks Later
What's with all the beeping. Ugh. Why can't I open my eyes. I hear voices I don't recognize. Let's listen. Shall we?
"She should be waking up soon. She is healing quite nicely despite all the other injuries she has. Maybe from her past. They are slowly starting to heal."
"Thank God"
"Jacob, you should go and get some rest in the other bedroom. You haven't slept since she got here. "
"No. I'm not leaving her alone. She is my mate and I will stay with her until she is alright. "
Wait..Mate?!.. I have a mate. Ok I think I need to wake up now. Ok now concentrate Luna. It's time to wake up. I began to struggle a little bit, but I kept pushing until I was able to open my eyes. Then it worked. I slowly opened my eyes just as someone was trying to inject me with something. I freaked out real quick and knocked the needle out of the person's hand and jumped on them holding onto their throat. I was holding on to a man who looked to be in his mid 20's, early 30's.
I then began to talk in a demanding voice. "Where am i? Who are you?". I then let out a little growl and that's when I saw a couple of people coming in. They looked to be a family. I quickly retreated and sat in a corner scared. That's when I saw him. The boy from town, but he had bags under his eyes like he hasn't slept. Bella began to react and yell out " MATE. MATE. MATE". I wasn't listening to Bella because I was too scared if these people was going to hurt me.
The boy staring at me slowly started to come towards me. I didn't know what to so I began to beg. "P-Ple-Please do-don't hur-hurt me". " I'm not going to hurt you. I would never do that" the boy said in a nice, tender voice. He got close to my face and began to slowly caress my face. "Do you remember me from town when you ran into me?" he asked. I slowly nodded. "My name is Jacob King and this is my family. Please tell me your name". he said. I didn't know if I should my name or not. "SAY YOUR NAME. HE IS YOUR MATE." Bella said angrily.
I thought about it for a moment and then I began to speak. "My n-name i-is MonaLuna, but I-I go b-by L-Luna". He began to smile and said " Do you know why you are very important to me? " he asked and I quietly pointed at him and said "M-Mate". He smiled even bigger and nodded. I gave a slight smile towards him and then offered me his hand to get up. I held his hand he helped me up and then he gave me a hug. I was frozen, but after a while I slowly melted in his arms and began to hug back. He let go of me and he turned me towards his family.
I looked at the man I had jumped and I quickly apologized. "I am so sorry I jumped on you. I was just scared". " It is entirely okay" he said and I sighed in relief. Then the man looked at Jacob and said "I shall take my leave now Alpha" and my skin went pale. I began to tremble. Jacob started to notice and quickly asked with concern "Hey are you ok? Is something wrong?". I quickly let go of him and ran to the the corner of the bed. All the memories of the abuse I got from Alpha started to my mind.
Jacob walked towards me and I quickly began to beg to him thinking he is the Alpha I know. "Please don't hurt me Alpha. Please. Please". Jacob eyes were with tears watching his mate being scared of him, but then his face turned angry. 'Her old Alpha must have done this to her. All the bruises and scars were all from him' he thought. " Who was your Alpha before you came here" he said with a cold tone. I looked at him and he looked angry so I answered quickly "Samuel Starlight".
Jacob came foward and kneeled down before me and said " I will never ever hurt you, I'll be back later because I'm going to make sure your old Alpha doesn't live another day. I promise". And with that he kissed my forehead and got up and told his family to look after me and then he walked out of the room.
