I took a deep break and released the string. A single string is much safer and also my strings could divide themselves into hundreds of parts.

Soon, it reached the part of the done which is covered in the energy. 

The formations on it lit up, and I poured forbidden power into it. Three and half seconds later, it touched the energy layer and gently passed through it, without any formation reacting.

Seeing that, I couldn't help but take a sigh in relief.

I was about to move the string toward one of the broken formations when suddenly, I stopped, with a huge shock appearing on my face.

My string collected some energy inside and sent it to my core. The energies are poison, the same one that had infiltrated me and others.
