"Fuck," I cursed.

I had cursed not because of the cultist's self-destruction, but because of how close Wanya had been with the cultist when that had happened.

I felt worried for a second before feeling relieved when I sensed Wanya.

She is quite battered, but she is alive and now moving toward the second cultist, who is trying to escape.

The second cultist is in quite bad shape, too.

The first cultist had self-destructed, because she didn't want to get captured. It had nothing to do with the second cultist.

To them, it is a fate worse than death. 

The organizations and Alkaz had no mercy for these people. Seeing that, many cultists chose to self-destruct rather than get caught.
