I stared at an empty place for a moment longer before I focused on the core, and after some concentration, I entered inside.

'It is good,' I said as I moved my limbs around; I enjoyed the mobility for a couple of seconds before my expression turned serious, and I appeared by my clones, both of them studying the meta-scan.

I have to say, the clone method is great; even after the mess in which my soul is, they are still standing, and it is as much on the method as on my core. If it had been a normal core without the peculiarities, I wouldn't have been able to maintain my clones.

I looked at my meta-scan and saw the mess my body was in; it was bad, beyond bad, that I didn't know where to begin.

The white fire had saved me, but it had also messed me up for good.
