I was dropped in the student health center with the school nurse before my kinda good Samaritan ran away without a care what will later happen to me.
I was quickly rushed to the emergency center, they were trying so hard to keep me alive but I lost so much blood.
I really want to say that they try their best but we all know that I am going to die, they shake their head knowing that they have done their best and put me on borrowed time or borrowed life.
They left my ward silently, I couldn't move, but I was having some thought flying my head, mostly is about my life.
My name is Femi which means 'love me', a skinny guy with a lot of debt in his hands, and I am from Nigeria 🇳🇬, but I moved to the United States 5 years ago, I am going to be 19 years old next month that is December 31, what can I say also, I am the firstborn in my family, also the firstborn out of three children of my parents.
I want to die and kill myself ever since I was 5 years old.
People could see that on my face and the reason is my parents and life, my parents are control freak especially my mom who is a manipulator, always looking for ways to beat me and punish me minus my Siblings who are better than me in all ways especially my brother who is my twin brother Daniel(another name), I am older with an hour, his birthday is January 1, he is smart in my studies, handsome and he is also athletic, let say he is the perfect son for any parent, while my little sister also the baby of the house Esther, also smart in school unlike me, the black sheep of the household.
if most people are in my shoe, they would get jealous or they might even murder there sibling but not me, because I in fact love them, mostly my sister.
I remember one time when my brother and I came home from school with our report card, I got 96% in all my subject while my brother got 100%.
They were praising him while they denounce me telling me why can't I be like my brother.
They took him out to celebrate while I was left in my cold room. The best thing I have even done is to leave the house to go to college which is 18 hours with a bus, 14 by car, and 2 hours on a plane.
while leaving my parent told me that they won't be paying a dime since I am the firstborn.
Ever since I got to college, I have been doing some odd jobs.
