Kapitel 140: The Silence Was More Than Enough
Sweat dropped from their chin, Kaname and Astra both had a serious look as they exert a large amount of effort and control while their hands are placed on top of Takao's chest.
An accident happened during their absorbing time.
Takao absorbed more than what his body can accommodate and now the essences that he absorbed are going on a rampage inside his chest, in particular his heart.
The burning caused him so much pain that he ended up losing consciousness. Astra was fast enough when she noticed something was amiss that she pulled Kaname with her and tasked her to release an ice cold water.
Both of them slowly placed it on top of his chest but at the same time, they were releasing cold energy that will help suppress the heat within while the ice cold water helps it from the outside for Takao's whole body was burning hot.
Xenon, Shinobu and Kaito remained on the side as they watched what was going on.
