Kapitel 12: Chapter 12 Rivalry?
Kasey's POV
Pagdating sa rest house agad akong sinalubong nila Denise at Cherry ng mahigpit na yakap at sermon. Hindi ko din naman sila masisisi kasi pinag alala ko sila ganoon na din ang boys.
"Sorry talaga pinag alala ko pa kayo"
"Okay na yun, ang mabuti pa, magbihis ka na, basang basa kayong dalawa oh baka sipunin pa kayo at ikaw naman Nice gagamutin natin yang sugat mo kaya magbihis ka na din." sermon sa amin ni Denise.
Denise was really a caring and loving person, James was lucky to have her.
After I finished changing my clothes my brother called me downstairs and he gave me hes special soup, he said that he made it for me and Nice so we won't catch a cold.
After eating all of it he bid good night because he was sleepy, and since i'm not sleepy at all I went to veranda to freshen up and watch the stars, when I saw that Nice was also there.
"Oh!, bakit di ka pa natutulog?" tanong nya.
"I'm not sleepy and besides I want to watch the stars, how about you?"
"the same reason as you"
"ah~. I see"
"want something to drink, Juice?, milk?, water?"
"Juice na lang"
"Okay, just wait here."
No ones POV
While Nice was at the kitchen to get their drinks, Vincent suddenly came.
"I thought you were asleep?" Nice ask
"Yeah, but I got up because I'm thirsty, how about you?"
"I don't feel sleepy at all, by the way, Vincent I just want to say thank you for helping us on finding Kasey"
"it's not a big deal, besides she was our friend. By the way Nice I've been thinking about this a while ago, by any chance?. Do you have a crush on Kasey?, Am I right?"
"Huh?!, what are you talking about?" Nice said as his face slowly turning red
"just answer my question, Yes or No?"
"Alright, what if I do have a crush on her, what will you do?"
"n-n-nothing"
"Don't fool me Vincent we've been friends for years, and I know you had a crush on her, I saw it, there's something whenever you look or talk to her, but maybe you were afraid to confess because you're afraid to be turned down and you also knew that she was not good around with boys, so you kept silent and admire her from afar, Am I right?"
"*sigh* alright, you've got me there, you're right, I liked her and you like her too, right?, you can't deny it to me"
"I don't know it myself, maybe your right, maybe I already like her, but Vincent I just want to remind you I won't hand her to you because you already had a commitment don't you" Nice reminded him
And from there, their conversation that night ends.
Kasey's POV
Ang tagal naman ata ni Nice, hmmm hayaan na nga.
I keep on watching an gazing at the stars, for a moment I remembered Ryouma, is he looking at the stars too?, naalala nya pa kaya ako, iniisip nya rin ba ako?, yung mga naging kaibigan ko kaya?, kamusta na kaya sila? , madaming tanong ang bigla na lang na pumasok sa utak ko at sa kaka-isip ko di ko namalayan na nasa tabi ko na pala si Nice.
"Mukang malalim ang iniisip mo ah. Here your juice" he said while handling down to me a glass of juice.
"Thank you, wala naman pinagmamasdan ko lang kung gaano kaganda ang night sky" palusot ko
"ganun ba, sabagay nakaka-relax nga naman kasing titigan ang stars, it's been a long day for us, right?"
"oo tama ka, It's been a long and unexpected day, sorry ah nasira ko ang bakasyon natin"
"okay lang yun, I'm sure bukas mag e-enjoy tayo, sulitin na natin dahil bukas na din ng gabi ang uwi natin"
"oo nga" matamlay kong sabi
"you've been through a lot of pain but still you stand up and face everything head high and with a smile and positive thinking, you're strong" he murmured
"huh?, what are you talking about?"
Is he talking about me, about what happen to me this past years?
"hah?, wala, wala yun, I was just talking to myself"
"talking to yourself?, weird" I said while trying not to laugh
"wag mong pigilin yang tawa mo at baka sa iba yan lumabas" he said while grinning at me
"huh?, di ko magets?, ibang iba ka pala talaga Nice, kala mo sinong masungit yun naman pala may pagka-baliw ka"
"I often heard that, they always thought that I was a snob, well totoo naman kasi pag ayaw ko sa isang tao di ko talaga kinakausap unless kailangan, saka nakaka irita din kasi yung iba minsan kaya ayun"
"ganon ba"
After that a few minutes of silence came, both of us don't know what to say anymore.
"Kasey di ka pa matutulog?"
"hmm.. Uhmm, hindi pa eh"
"ganon ba, oh sige mauna na ako, inaantok na kasi ako eh"
"okay, sige magpahinga ka na, good night and thank you"
"wala yun, sige good night na din sayo"
Then umalis na sya para matulog samantalang ako nanatili lang sa labas I don't know how many hours had past until I fall asleep.
Next morning I woke up nasa kwarto na ako, samantalang sa pagkakatanda ko sa may veranda na ako nakatulog.
"nagising ka rin, halika ka na kumain na tayo ng agahan" Cherry said as she saw me woke up.
"o-ok" naguguluhan talaga ako
"bakit ba sa may veranda mo naisip matulog kagabi ha!, buti na lang at nakita ka ni Nice na nasa may veranda ka pa at natutulog kaya naman binuhat ka nya at dinala dito, Kasey naman, nakalimutan mo na bang may sipon ka pa paano kung lagnatin ka?" sermon ni Denise
"s-sorry naman po" so si Nice pala, sya na naman.
"tama na nga yang pagse-sermon mo Denise di ka naman nanay, ang mabuti pa bumaba na tayo para makakain na tayo, at ikaw Kasey mag ayos ka ng sarili mo okay, mauna na kami sa baba"
"opo"sabi ko na lang.
I'm so grateful that I've been friends with them, tama nga si lolo, I can start my life again here and forget what happened to me in the past. What ever happens to me from now on I will face it bravely because I have my family and new friends that is always there to stand by me and cheer me up.
