Hey guys! Hope you enjoyed the chapter. I decided to add a little more backstory. Unlike what I did in volume two, where the Tyrant Empress suddenly appeared, I decided to show it this time. Otherwise, many would accuse me of being too random again. Not that I deny it, though. This story has constantly veered to a path that even I didn't expect.

Just to give a little defense/explanation, most stories (not all) here in webnovel have authors that are Plotters. I am not a plotter. I thought I was, but when I was writing this past chapter 20, I realized that I'm the other one. A Pantser. Which is actually a bit of a disadvantage here. Because, in this site, people may have the expectation of a "plot-driven" story where Plot dictates action. In other words, the story follows a specific plot and you have expectations regarding that plot. Plot twist also happens, but these are also plot points plotted by the plotter. Examples would be, SOTR, ATG, Chaotic Sword God, TDG and Library of the Heavens, any works by I Eat Tomatoes

The Pantser story that clearly comes to mind is Transcending the Nine heavens. Maybe Tang Jia San Shao and Er Gen are Panters or they are just extremely detailed Plotter...

Anyway, Plotters thrive here. Because of the nature of LN stories. (Long, drawn-out, repetitive and the need to post chapters daily which minimizes thinking time. And there's me posting three chapters a week.)

But I'm not that and instead of plot, my characters really dictate the story. (By the way, in the Plotter vs. Pantser, none is more superior than the other. JK Rowling is said to be a Plotter, while G.R.R Martin is obviously a Pantser.

Anyway, this is me apologizing. About three more chapters before the battle starts. But it's coming guys. Wait for it.
