Their are many kinds of Bonds within life. I had emotional troubles that I hadn't overcome for a long time, and their were burdens placed upon me during the training which I had with my Family. Overcoming these obstacles had been the most exhausting part of our training.
At around the time of a week within our groups training, Spinarak started to act up. It would put itself ahead and bully Budew. I had tried to fix it quickly, but I wasn't enough to pull them together. They would need a cause to pull themselves together I decided, but I didn't know any ways of doing such a thing.
Over the next couple of weeks their tempers around each other grew worse until eventually they had a full on fight. It wasn't to the death of course, but it was until both sides were forced to be sent to nurse joy for a few hours. This had been the one time I was forced to leave the forest during my family's entire training.
That had been the final straw. Now the question remained what was I going to do about it? Thankfully and non thankfully I didn't need to think about it for long as after a couple of hours a bear Pokemon appeared. It was an interesting creature, and a new one at that, or at least for me personally.
It was known as a KintuKintu a ground and rock type Pokemon according to my Pokedex. It had one eye fully opened with a maddening look that just screamed the bear was crazy, and the other was the exact opposite. This side of the bear seemed to be full of happiness and charm. It was like the one evil/good teddy bear hybrid I had watched once from an Anime. Even sides of the bear's fur was different with one side being a deep dark brown and the other being light beige color.
Looking the bear once over I didn't hesitate and ran. I didn't know the strength of the Pokemon personally so I didn't want to risk it. I had learned my lesson with the first unknown or at least for me unknown Pokemon I had encountered. I had never in my life ever ran as hard as I had in that moment, and the worst part was the bear looked at me once before it started to chase me as well.
I believe their was a lesson in their somewhere in my old world that this was not what you do in front of a bear, but I digress. This was a walking, for me talking, angry, Aura filled bear. At least I assumed it was angry. It was kind of hard to tell looking at its face, but back to the point of the encounter. Looking back I watched the bear break the trees of the forest as it ran after me never slowing down. Thanks to that I at least confirmed it was angry.
Thankfully and once more unthankfully the only good point was that it was an extremely slow Pokemon. Of course no matter how slow a Pokemon is, their still faster than any human could ever be minus of course Slowbro, but that was its thing. Once the bear was about to finally reach me I grabbed my Pokeballs and got ready to throw. At that moment I realized something however. When I had took off earlier I had dropped Emblaze's Pokeball on the ground. Thinking fast I threw out the other Pokeballs I had for both Budew and Spinarak. Once they come out they were ready to fight once more, but at that same moment they noticed a horrifying sight. A large beast ready to eat them, or at least from one half of it's appearance.
Yelling out at them to be careful they each ran into each other trying to go in opposite directions to dodge. While they were in trouble all of a sudden a blur slammed into the large creature. It was the Rattata I had left earlier while running away. The action of drawing all the bears attention seemed to make it strongly believe in me when I asked if it would join me before, even if the action of drawing the creature's attention had been an accident.
Rattata had also used a bite when it had collided causing a cut to appear across the bears cheek up to it's eye. Then the eyelid closed and blood poured out after wards. The eye had actually been ripped up by the mouse that had saved us. At that moment a loud roar resounded upon the area. No person's or Pokemon's ears were spared from the incredibly nauseatingly loud sound. In the next moment the bear turned ready to attack the newest family member instead of myself and the two Pokemon on the ground. I knew at that moment that I truly wanted to give the mouse a chance at a good life where we could be family.
A flash of fear entered my other family member's eyes, and I wished at that moment more than anything else to help it. In that second another flash appeared. This time it was the two Pokemon I had taken my eyes off of. They seemed to had been angered with what had almost happened and they now seemed to had come to some sort of agreement.
They although not best friends decided to become instead rivals. Rivals who would still later beat each other into the ground, but not severely enough for hospitalization. Then with the sound of a swish a string was shot from the Spinarak, and it wrapped around the creatures neck. After a few moments it was also pulled with the help of Budew's vine whip which had wrapped all the way up the string, pulling the head into a position on the ground where it lost all it's oxygen.
They had knocked out the more powerful creature by attacking it's weak point while most importantly successfully working together. Our family had as such grown closer. And I was proud to call them MY FAMILY.
I did major rewriting for the chap. In fact the content almost doubled in the word amount.
This chapter as such has been revised.
