When she walked out the door, Jun was breathing heavily, his hand, leaning on the door for support. He was shocked for his life for the first time.
"how in the world did I get that courage?" he breathed out, slamming his back om the wall beside the door, now.
He walked towards his bed and lay down, thinking of what happened. He couldn't explain the feeling that he felt. It was overwhelming.
He remembered how she taste and that made him crave more, but he knew. He knew that he could only be so patient to achieve his plans. He was no chase boy and that was because of the news.
-Next morning-
She prepared herself and tried to evaluate her plan on how to avoid him for a while. She was going to school anyways, so it would be easier for her.
"Mana—J-Jun," she greeted, avoiding his eyes. She was about to go downstairs and call Manang Brenda when he appeared.
"you're carrying such a small bag?" he asked, starting a conversation while going downstairs.
She nodded although he couldn't see and just replied, "well, it's in medium size. Plus, I just carry a 2 big journal for all of my classes, pencils and pen and I carry a portable printer for me to minimize bringing notebooks,"
He chuckled. They both shared two core classes, Business and Management, all together and Marketing.
" won't it be heavy for you? "
" not really, " they arrived at the breakfast table and sat down, quietly eating but it seemed like Jun was in a good mood today.
"will you be okay today? I won't be there to w—nevermind," he looked down and continued eating.
She was confused on what he was about to say. They don't normally walk together, right after they were told to not be seen together in public. Until now, she didn't know why.
She shook the thought and replied," I'll be okay, I'll just let Ashley and the others send me here. They know about our situation anyways,"
He smiled and continued eating.
After she prepared herself, Manong Roel to send her to school as what Jun strictly ordered her. Since he was left alone at the house, he figured out that he need someone to watch her closely, resulting to Manong Roel sending her off. Not only that, he had connections inside the school and he's willing to pay just for her safety.
____
"Isn't it the first time he's absent?" her classmate gossip. Unfortunately, when she gave the letter to the teachers, they all went gossiping about it too.
"I miss my Jun," she snapped her head to the direction of the voice and found out it was no other than Veronica herself.
"it's not like he's dying anyways," she scoffed and earned the attention of everyone. She was fed up with their overreaction of Jun being absent.
"what did you say? Is he in danger? Oh, I should go and visit him," she said, pouting.
"Do you know what happened to him Liana?" Chang Chang asked, looking at her annoyed face.
She gave a tight smile, showing her dimples and explained her side, "not really, I was just told to drop the letter off since I'm his classmate,"
"tsk, why don't you just tell them?"
Everyone looked at Veronica and then back to her.
"what do you mean?" Chang Chang asked, prying at Veronica. She might not be close friends with Liana but she sure as heck she hated Veronica.
"nothing, what she meant by that was Jun personally gave me the letter," she quickly butted in, cursing Veronica for giving her a new problem.
The class seemed to bought her excuse and went back to their place.
"It seemed like the Ice Prince and the Enchantress have a connection, what is it?" the class' teaser once again directed the question to her who thought about world peace.
She groaned, "can you stop? There's nothing! Really,"
Everyone was shocked at her sudden raising of voice. They quickly looked away from her and avoided her directions.
_____
"Christian, I told you, go with me to Liana's house. Everyone else is going," Ashley whined at her boyfriend.
"Hold up—everyone?"
She blushed before explaining, "not everyone as in all the students, everyone in our group,"
He sighed and agreed to her conditions that right after they got there, they'll watch horror movies.
"so that bitch Veronica really crossed her line by almost exposing the both of you to the public, huh? Seriously, she needs some beating,"
Liana chuckled at Victoria's idea but she refused. "We're smarter than her, Vic. Violence never solve the problems,"
Victoria scoffed and followed by Ashley and Dylan. "sometimes, you got to give them a good shot for them to stop. It's one thing for them to learn. It's just the hard way,"
She nodded as she understood her side. Well, Liana was known to be a violent child when she was just a kid. She punches kids who steals her things, especially her foods. She kicked their butts whenever they bully her and she grabbed their hair whenever they teased her.
