Kapitel 204: That's not what I meant!

Ronnie immediately regained his composure. "Honey! We're still at Virat and Sanvi's wedding.. How could you get these perverted thoughts here?" He pulled away from her embrace. "And Mrs Jayne Ronnie, you call me a pervert just because I asked you to kiss me?" He feigned innocence.

Jayne covered her mouth with both her hands!

"While in reality it's you who is getting perverted thoughts of me impregnating you?" Ronnie winked at her.

Jayne went wide-eyed and shook her head vigorously! "Wait… Wait… Wait my perverted husband. That's not what I meant." She lowered her head in shame.

Ronnie stifled his laughter. "My pervert wife!"

Jayne smacked his arm. "Ronnie!" She glared at him.

Ronnie tried hard not to laugh. "Okay baby! I'm serious! Go on..."

"Katherine Bradford and Sanvi both are pregnant Ron. Look at Sanvi… Look at the way she's beaming with happiness with her man by her side and child in her tummy." She gazed at Sanvi who was all smiles. She was lightly caressing her tummy and talking to Mr and Mrs Roy who also looked very happy.

Ronnie felt it extremely painful for not being able to satisfy his wife's wish. She rarely asks for anything from him.

"Look at mom and dad, Ron. They're so happy for Sanvi and Virat. Imagine how happy they'd be if their daughter in law was pregnant." Jayne turned melancholic now.

Ronnie was at a loss for words.

Then she raised her head to look at Ronnie. She caressed his handsome face. "Undoubtedly with you by my side I don't need anybody else hubby. But then, a child would make me complete, and our family complete."

Ronnie turned to his side to kiss Jayne's palms which were caressing his face. "I know my wifey. But, what's the rush? We still have a long life ahead. Babies can wait."

"Hmph!" Jayne was about to walk away.

Ronnie held her wrist and pulled her back. He then kissed her forehead. "Baby, I totally get you. Let's meet Uncle Henry once you're free. You still have the grand advertisement launch lined up. So, let me know once you're free we'll go meet him."

Jayne felt much better after talking to Ronnie. They got back to the wedding celebrations. They happily posed for the cameras. Later, they all proceeded towards the big fat wedding lunch.

Ronnie and Jayne had already planned Sanvi and Virat's honeymoon. It was at the city of love, Paris. After the wedding, a chauffeur dropped the newlyweds at the airport.

After getting back home, Ronnie thought it would be better if Dr Henry Thomas came home and explained Jayne's conditions to everyone at home. They had anyway decided to conceal about her genetic disorder.

He dialed Dr Henry Thomas's number. "Hello Uncle Henry. It's never Ron!"

"Hello Ron! What's the matter?" Dr Henry Thomas asked with crinkled eyebrows.

"Nothing to worry uncle. It's just that I thought it would be better if you come home and tell both our parents and Jayne about her stressful injury. And therefore, not to rush with her pregnancy." Ronnie answered him.

"I get you Ron. I'll see you tomorrow then!" Dr Henry Thomas agreed.

"Yes uncle. Come home for dinner. It's been a long time." Ronnie invited him.

Dr Henry Thomas chuckled. "Sure child. See you tomorrow then! Good night!"

"See you tomorrow then! Good night uncle!" Ronnie hung up with that.

Jayne came in when Ronnie said the last sentence. "Whom are you seeing tomorrow Ron?" She enquired.

"Jayne, I asked Uncle Henry to come home for dinner tomorrow." Ronnie said.

A smile appeared on Jayne's lips. "Oh that's great news Ron! We can talk to him tomorrow then!" She sat down on Ronnie's lap.

"Yes honey!" Ronnie buried his head in her hair. He just couldn't get enough of her. He loved her unconditionally to no end...in spite of her imperfections.

The next evening Dr Henry Thomas came home as decided.

"Hello Uncle Henry! Thanks for coming!" Ronnie thanked him.

Everybody else exchanged pleasantries with Dr Henry Thomas before proceeding towards dinner. The kitchen had prepared a sumptuous dinner for them.

Post dinner, they all gathered in the living area. Dr Henry Thomas began speaking.

"Well, let me tell you all something…" He looked at everyone.

"You all know, Jayne was badly injured and she has lost all her memories."

Mrs Sona Bhat's eyes welled up on hearing that. Mrs Caroline Roy held her hands in support.

"The physical and psychological stress she's had because of her injuries are gradually healing. It'll take some time for her body to perfectly get back to normal. We never know, she might even regain her memories…"

"But then, right now it's better if she doesn't stress her herself too much with respect to anything. Be it work life, her studies or even getting pregnant. Else it might have grave impacts on her."

Mrs Sona Bhat hugged Jayne. She began wailing out. "My poor child. Why is life so unfair to you? You've been suffering at every instant."
